The lust for the big buck has only increased! And wouldn't you know it, a small restock happened to hit yesterday.

Kolesch tannery is something else.
Can remember calling them to order some samples for Iron Heart UK.
It was such a lovely chat about their process and Mr. Kolesch could even remember the delivery of hides for the first jacket Haraki ordered years earlier.I am in for a natural hide CPO prototype or even an Untucked version.
Let me know ️. -

the first jacket Haraki ordered
Funny, they could not remember that last night
I bought those hides and gave H the prototype as a present.....

For real. I was surprised Mr. Kolesch sen. could remember, because it was only hide for one jacket that was send to Scotland. But at this time there have been several attempts to get some more hides for IH. Perhaps he gentle mirrored my narrative ️.

Great to see the pictures and video from the tannery!
(I do some leatherwork when I have the time, and generally the more old school (and time consuming) the tanning process the more I tend to like the leather. J&FJ Baker is a personal favourite for instance)

@giles @Alex what’s y’all got planned, apologize if I missed earlier announcement. Never-mind figured it out!
The Kolesch tannery is where we get the deerskin we use for the Big Bucks. We have supply issues (we can't get enough quick enoughn ). We wanted to meet the family and get a feeling for their constraints, so we could understand more readily how we can modify our ordering/buying behaviour to better fit in with their centuries-old way of doing things. Plus we think it very important to have personal relationships with our suppliers.
