IHSH-293-OD - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo Overdyed Black
-
OK… thanks for the tip.
-
@JackD Fit is spot on. Congrats on the 293.
-
@JackD another trick is to upload 2 pictures at a time. Let them fully load and add 2 more. Repeat until all of your photos are loaded and then hit the post button.
Personally I have found any more than 3 photos at a time will error out. Doing the above allows me to post multiple photos in one post.

@stichdown.shell thank you for nice comment. Appreciate,

An update wearing my 293-OD CPO.
Love the jacket…. shame can’t wear it outside for now as weather in Fort Lauderdale in South FL is headed in the wrong direction… lol.
So for now wearing it indoors to “exercise” the fabric and get it a bit less rigid so when I start wearing it in the fall it will be more pliable.
A couple of indoor pics attached. Also wearing the new IH 814-IND wabash painter pants I just received yesterday. I’ll post about the 814-_IND to that forum later. -
Well pics refuse to post. I’ll try again
-
Again… uploading a couple of pics of my new 293-OD CPO and IH 814-IND wabash painter pants

@long_john86 I looove this shirt! Looks RAD on you!
-
@denim-dawg Cheers dude likewise excited to see the various evolutions of this shirt on the forum. It has so much to give… and I am always pleasantly surprised at how soft it is!
-
@long_john86 and @denim-dawg thank you very much.
Yes… It is an awesome fit. Looking forward to wearing the shirt and getting it to break and fade as I’ve seen in the many pics exhibited here. -
Thought I would just post this for info incase anyone else is struggling with sizing on some OD Denim.
I have possibly about 9 or 10 Iron Heart Shirts in a mixture of either L or XL's and mainly in Western Style due to a fairly slim waist against my Shoulder and Chest Measurements.
As a rule I've tended to buy OD Denim in XL, Regular Indigo in L, Kersey in L, Serge in XL and UHW Flannels in both L & XL dependent on individual dimensions which has worked for me up until now.
My new XL18 OZ OD CPO with 19.5 Shoulders and 23.3 Pit to Pit purchased recently was just a little bigger than all my other Shirts and although I didn't really notice this initially, (and knew that the dimensions of the Large were reasonably significantly smaller and wouldn't have worked for me either) I could definitely feel it after a couple of wears.
Although OD is regarded as completely Pre Shrunk I decided to do a Hot Soak in the bath about 60 degrees for 30 Mins with Woolite Dark Soap Powder to help preserve the Colour.
The result, Well I couldn't be happier. The colour is absolutely Vibrant, and looks brand New and I've almost lost half a Size between the XL and the L, with the Shoulder down to 19 and the Pit to Pit 22.7. The other dimensions have trimmed up in proportion slightly also.
I couldn't be happier. RESULT!!
Will send Photos when I can organise a Selfie Stick or someone to hold the Camera Phone.

Thank you for this. I seem to have that same size preferences as you and have been on the fence about what size to get. XL seems like the right option, especially if I can shrink it a bit for a better fit.
Can't wait to see a pic -
This shirt is the “Jordan dunking from the free throw line” of denim shirts.
Wait, I need a 293 poster for my wall.
We need Iron Heart posters

@endo my mom asked me like 10 years ago why my barber cut my hair "so far back". I lowered my head and said "mom, that's called a receding hairline". Now she has really bad dementia so the jokes on her (I say with much love).
