IH-727-KHA - 9oz Mercerised Selvedge Cotton Mid/High Rise Tapered Chinos - Khaki

Would love a restock and additional colors. I bought all five colors of the 721. I planned on wearing them for work but the 777 cut just isn't for me. Lesson learned. Add .5 to the rises and thigh and its game over.
-
Hope these arrive quicker than expected...
-
We have just had a new production schedule from Japan, I am afraid that they are not on there yet.
-
@Graham Thanks for the update. I'll have to look for other (possibly non-IH) alternatives now as I need some chinos very soon...

FWIW, if I have a choice to begin with, I always prefer having snap buttons (and even wanted to have the other rear pocket pimped up with a snap button) which is why I wanted these over the 731s.

I'd recommend the 731's which are essentially a 12oz version if y'all don't have them already.
Got a pair already, but lost some weight so need a new pair. The sizes you still have in stock are too small.
Got a pair of the 717's too and while they sit right at the hips, they're a bit cosy in the thigh.
I dunno why these are listed as "continuous production" at this point... think I've been following this thread since 2022!
Is the 634 style cut really that much more popular than the 888 style cut? It certainly seems to get all the love.

Because they are not a seasonal release, they are an item that will be rerun as often as we can. I've talked a lot about issues in the factories, juggling production etc, I know you are aware of the issues there, so I won't go into it again.

Yes, it really is, which is why we have pushed 717s through in the small gaps we have available to make things out of this fabric. Its not a conspiracy to piss off 888 lovers

Nah, looks like we'll need to found a "Union of 888 lovers" soon to represent our interests

Haha. Look, I think you have. been around long enough to remember that we used to not make all cuts in all denims, we would randomly do a new denim and only make it in the 634 or the 555, and that was super frustrating for everyone.
One of the biggest changes I have made in the last few years is that when we release a new fabric, it comes in every cut. We are not in the business of trying to piss off customers that only like one cut, that was exactly what the logic behind that decision was.
The flip side of that, is that it drastically increased the production load on factories every time we want to rerun a denim.
Good things take time, or something like that.

Just messing around and trying to provoke some smirks
But on a more serious note: I perfectly understand and respect the challenges that you have taken on, especially since I've been around long enough to see the changes and struggles you mention. That's why I try (but unfortunately don't always succeed) not to ask for updates to create more pressure.
That said, my aim is to wait (long enough, at least, until the "want" turns into a "need" or an urgency like in this case) as patiently as I can to exclusively buy anything Iron Heart first, instead of looking for another brand's similar product which, in the long run, usually ends up disappointing my expectations of the high quality that I've gotten used to with Iron Heart anyway. Thank you for trying your best to make us 888 lovers happy.

@Alex Yep, fair enough. I was only teasing with the 'continuous production' comment. I'm happy to keep waiting at the end of the day.
Wish the 634 cut worked for me in more things, but I really do need the legroom. Experience has taught me to treat the thigh measurement as my most important variable.
Keen to see what this secret wide-legged cut that you're working on is as a result!
