IHSH-307-OLV - 13oz Military Serge Work Shirt - Olive

@tangfj are you Stateside? If so Ironshop Provisions still has an XL and XXL in stock.
Yes, I'm in the US… thanks for that! Now just gotta decide... size just right at XL or give a little more room with XXL and shrink to fit? Leaning towards XXL... as I get older and especially over the last year my usual XL's are a little more snug than they used to be...

Ladies and Gents, I’ve been trying to slide into this shirts DM’s for the longest and I finally got my chance. Really impressed with the serge fabric, the smaller cuff openings, and the overall cut.
I must admit right out of the bag I immediately missed snap closure, but that feeling quickly faded and it’ll hop right into rotation with the rest of the lot.

Very nice @jordanscollected it‘s a great shirt. Mine did get a lot of wear time last summer. Love how it softens with every wear and wash.
-
Looks great, @jordanscollected
Is this shirt sweaty, or does it breathe well?
-
Thanks Rueben and Chap, work shirts are something I should lean towards in the future.
@weftyarn thank you sir. This was my first wear and it is a near record breaking 57 degrees today. I can’t speak to the breathability just yet, but many people have long history with the serge fabric.
-
Yeah dude, great fit!
-
Thanks Ann and Misfitlife. Loving every minute of it
-
I'm definitely copping one of these when the next restock hits.
-
Looks great @jordanscollected , great to see this shirt getting some love.
@weftyarn the fabric is dense and pretty rigid to begin with. It does seem to be breathable, however, as I’ve worn plenty and never found it particularly sweaty. Probably wouldn’t be comfortable on the hottest days.
-
Awesome, thanks @jerkules
-
Any news about a restock for this shirt?
-
@AdamJ thank you for the update! Looking forward to it!

Hi folks,
how is sizing?
I war XL in UHF work shirt - XXL in UHF Western.
185cm with 100kg.
Should I go with XL as usual?Thank you.
-
@finger I’m 185cm and 80kg and generally between sizes in IH shirts. I need to the shoulder and length of an XL, but could get away with the chest and waist of an L. I generally err on the side of caution and stick with an XL which I did with this shirt, and I’m very happy with the fit. I think you would be too if you’re used to wearing an XL. And when in doubt, get the measuring tape out.
-
@finger if you measure your best fitting shirt using the Iron Heart method, you can then compare sizing of that to this shirt.
