Odd…I was really expecting some more prudent advice about “only buy what you need” or “it would be a silly when you already have the Bareback!”
The secret message of Jeff is clearly :"buy this shirt so my wallet will not bleed..." .
Correct me if I'm wrong @Heavy_blueBut @Mizmazzle, also for my sake, buy this damn shirt!!!
-
@gouki74 that was my secret move all along
-
i think i have finally solved my dilemma of the perfect coat/jacket to wear over this shirt 🥳

First go at treating the pale rider. A good dose of Mustang paste and now letting it darken in the sun. Satisfying process and can’t wait to see the final result.
Some before, during and after photos.

Natural progress…loving this piece
-
@Rusty Looking good! What did you treat it with?
-
Nothing! Natural aging...hasn't even been worn in the sunlight that I remember.
I wear it around the house at night often while watching TV to help break it in/soften it up. I think the couch material rubs off on the creases some and make those nice looking dark lines near the elbows. Sized up to XL like I normally do w/ IH. I put some 25 lbs dumbbells in the sleeves near the elbows because they were so tight/stiff at first. Then I hung the shirt. Worked like a charm. The shoulders are also a little tight, but are loosening/softening up. Fits like a glove now and is still molding to my body some I think. I have worn it out and about probably 4 times, usually at night.

Two months of cycling (save for a couple dodgy weeks in April), with some full days of wear sprinkled about….
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot It looks great! Are the lighter hash marks from water? Love the untreated look.

@indigostiff thanks, man! Couldn’t tell you for certain - they might have even been there from the off. Been in the rain a few times, though.
