IH-777S-18 - 18oz Vintage Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Cut Jeans - Indigo

Not sure I know exactly what you mean.
My "home" site is .co.uk. If I click on the link, I get taken to .co.uk, but I can go to ironheartamerica.com by clicking on the US Icon top left
Sorry, I meant that there’s no link to the 777S-18 jeans on ironheartamerica.com. If you go to the “tapered” category, the jeans aren’t listed there. (I just checked and the same goes for the UK site.) You can do a search on them and they’ll pop up, but I figure that you folks want them easier to find than that.
-
@BlueBlood thanks for flagging, looks like someone missed a click when they made that product. I have fixed it now

I know there’s a pronto or carnival thread somewhere, but wasn’t sure if there was an actual thread for this pair of denim. They are the vintage 18oz in the 777 cut, just an IHxPronto collab that happened some years ago so just gonna slap these in here if that’s ok Mod(s) feel free to relocate if needed.
Got these on sale on the pronto site for $185 + shipping.
As always IHxPronto collabs go hard on the details. Love the yellow & orange stitching for the W, arcs, & chainstitch on the hem, black wabash pocket bags, & design on the leather patch.

What a great find Roxy
Those wabash bags are super cool !! -
UGH! First those awesome red arcs on the pair your bought a little way back and now these?! SO ENVIOUS!
Man those raw 21’s are on the back burner atm. But I eventually wanna ruin them!

So I snagged a pair of these & was planning to keep them in hibernation until IIY3 was done, but this post is evidence that that didn’t happen. I apparently have a thing for 18oz as of late. It’s a pretty cool denim with lots of character in a mild form.
Sent these in to get altered & looks like I pushed the limit as to what was capable as far as shrinking them.
Didn’t try them on before to get before/after shots, but i took measurements and the set of photos with the 777s-21ib’s have similar measurements so using those as how they would’ve fit before getting fixed up.
I’m thoroughly impressed that Rain was able to bring in the waist and top block from a starting point of 29” to 25” & eliminate some problems i have that include excess fabric around the crotch, unsightly gaps in the rear, bunching/baggy diaper in the rear, baggy knee to thigh/hips.

Looking great, Rox.
I bought a pair of these when they came out but didn't get much use due to the heatwave over the summer, but I've been wearing them all week and really love them.
Currently wearing mine with Tokyo cuffs but tempted to get them hemmed so that there is no cuff at all… I just can't decide. They look good with or without a cuff.

Am I right in thinking these are not natural Indigo dyed? So the denim is Vintage style, but the Indigo is synthetic!
And anyone have any pics of they're fades? -
It is not natural indigo, if it was we would say so. The denim is woven in a vintage style.
Same denim…....

And plenty of pics in this thread:

These just came in today. Thank you to @Bailey for the measurements.
As excited as I am to fade these, they'll probably have to wait until May or so. Really busy with my UHR, XHSib, and and 19L (and my ISHS-266) right now. These will be my summer-friendly (light) heavyweights.
Was also pleasantly surprised to find the Christmas card and chocolate bar in the package! Thanks to all of you at IHUK, and Happy Holidays.

@BlueBlood no worries man! Happy Holidays

Ended up getting these second hand in almost brand new condition, but was hesitant to try the 777's. The thigh seems pretty tight, so I'm not sure if I can pull these off long terms. Let me know what you guys think compared to my 4 month old 633s 21 oz. Love this 18oz fabric though, seems like the the perfect spring/summer season jean.

Just got my pair of 34's in yesterday. Got lucky on a +1 inventory re-up after initially hesitating. Man, this stuff is a different beast! Way more character than I expected, but it's not shouty. Feels surprisingly light for my first experience with 18oz. I'd say about on par with IH 14oz, which feels more substantial than other 14oz, but the 18oz seems more breathable. It might just be the perfect year-round weight:breathability ratio. It's substantial but doesn't feel at all stifling. It's definitely rigid and has a ton of texture, but it's not rough or scratchy. I did a fit check and gave em a pre-soak - I always do this and put them on damp to set the form/wrinkles, definitely helps me with comfort, but just my personal take. The measurements are about as close to perfect as I could hope for, keeping the belt tight though to avoid any waist over-stretch. Will probably throw up some pics once they see some use!

@WhiskeySandwich your take on the 18oz vintage is spot on. You don’t know what it has to offer till you unravel the parcel that it’s wrapped up in. Happy wearing!
-
@RoxRocks86 Thanks! I'm going to be hard pressed to rotate anything else, even my new-ish 142bb! How are yours coming along?
-
Guys, is there a plan to replenish these soon? Thanks.
