Then load of others would wish the opposite
Ask 100 people what their perfect cut would be, and we'd get 101 answers…..
A bit of variation between models actually is no bad thing...
Totally. My ideal cut would have the 777 top block and upper thigh, and would be 666 from the lower thigh down. This run of 666 19Ls is pretty close to that. Yay!

numbers work for this and 888, decisions…

It's def going to be hot in these the majority of the year with winter being ok. I'm in Nashville and it's a heat advisory now feeling like 105. I'm probably going to get a pair and just wear them only in the fall/winter. I think the fabric is too good to pass up

I accept that northern Norway is hardly comparable to Tennessee, but I find my pair to be very wearable in heat. I have a decent tolerance for heat though… but they are as wearable as 21oz.

Curious since we're in the same area what other weights you have and suggestions based on the weather in our area? I only have 14oz as I've just started to reward myself with nicer things.

I’ve never had a pair of 19L, but Iron Heart’s 21oz denim breathes better than the 14oz in my opinion. The weave is just looser, or something. Makes them more breathable. I also live in NC, but in the mountains.
If you explore previous threads about 19L, there’s a lot of info about the denim. If memory serves, it’s not the best hot weather heavyweight. Like neph says, it will depend on your tolerance more than anything.

Personally, I wouldn't go over anything over 19oz. If it's hot, I'm wearing shorts. I'm getting older and appreciate more comfortable fits and weights. It's a bit ironic because I'm thinking of getting a pair of LHT which is more rigid and heavy.
Once the first sign of Fall and the temperture starts to dip, I wear another 19oz pair and it isn't a problem.

Some photos before a soak yesterday. They haven’t gotten much love, but they’re about to be put to work.

Anyone have a fit pic to share?

I am debating on picking up a pair of these. I am wary of the lower rise though. I normally were jeans with a higher rise but I want the slimmer fit of this cut. What are other people's experince coming from higher rise cuts?

I'm probably going against what others would recommend but I size up in the 666 from my 634 size and the larger thigh/waist allows me to pull them up a little higher but still get a slightly slimmer fit than 634.

@october-rust that is a good idea. I might do that. I should have pulled the trigger on a pair when they were on sale.

I’m often in between a size 32 and a 33 in IH. My 633s-14bb are a 33 and they’re just about perfect except the rise and large thighs leave a good amount of extra material in the rear. I picked up the 666s-19l in a 33 and ended up returning them for a size 32. I figure if the 19oz stretches ~1 inch in the waist then they’ll be a bit baggy. I’m awaiting my 32 now but I’ll post a fit pic when they arrive.
