@the246guy i’m a 87,5 waist and went with a 89,8cm and they didn’t end up to big but like i said that’s different in a 555 then a 634. Also i don’t like my waist snug or tight i like a relaxed kinda fit but can wear it without a belt.
-
The question is did that 89,8 waist shrink and then stretch back to 89,5. UHR is UHR, does not matter if 634 or 555.
-
@the246guy I really recommend you contact the IHUK crew at the shop for sizing advice. Here is the email for them: shop@ironheart.co.uk
-
@the246guy don’t wanna be a show off but a tad relaxter waist on a 555 is totally different then on a 634 where the total look is different then on a super slim fit. Yeah they stretched back but not beyond that. But i would follow @goosehd his advice and drop the guys a email

A pair is on the way. Managed to find one with waist size 80 cm, so it should be good enough I suppose even after a soak and a warm wash.
-
Nice @the246guy hope they work out for you
-
@the246guy do a normal soak and wash first. Not hot. Try and see just to be safe. Hot = more shrinking
-
Yes, with the soak, I just want to get the dirt away after a few months of wear, so I will soak it cold always and I plan never ever to throw it in a washing machine! Once I get the pair delivered, if the waist sits comfortably, then it will be with me.
-
Another one who buys a UHR and doesn’t do the whole process like it’s supposed to
-
Cold soak and normal wash @the246guy .
-
@Heavy_blue Are you the other one if I'm not mistaken? I'm scared of getting it not fitting me anymore by hot wash or soak. I have had bad experiences in the past where I had to make a loss by selling some of them.
-
@the246guy Cold soak...normal wash in 30 degrees. try...if you need more shrinkage afterwards soak them again
-
UHR are cut a little bigger than usual so i think you are going to be fine. I went with my true to size in UHR
-
This is the recommendation for UHR fabric:
The UHR is loomstate. No processes have been performed on it. This means that the constructional stitching is not embedded into the fabric and can pop out. In addition the fabric is so dry and stiff that creases will be very sharp and abrasive and can tear.
Soaking AND an initial wash are necessary to embed the stitching and finesse the fabric. Shrinking is a by product of this.
Hot soak and wash to embed the stitches and failure to follow those instructions can lead to premature failures.

Guess who’s back in raws!!
Although, this one’s a different cut and a subtle difference in the buttons with my 666 pairs from the first run
-
@louisbosco nice one mate, I'm tempted to grab a pair of 31 in the 555 before they go, for next season
-
@AdamJ do it mate. The UHR’s are the best denim I’ve worn thus far, so much so that I’m going back for seconds
-
@AdamJ any guidance on the restock for these?
-
@rheubanks we’ll be arranging another production run soon, but won’t be back in for a while I’m afraid. Will update with a better ETA once we have one

sorry to resurrect this old thread, but did you ever end up grabbing some 31s in the 555? are you normally 32? (sorry if i missed you mentioning that already)
just curious if you ever did because sometimes i feel like i might should have got 31s instead of 32 in my UHRs. thanks!
