Looks perfect!

I am looking at a pair of these and have a sizing question. I am still a bit confused after reading through this thread.
My best fit is the 777S. I have a pair of Slubbys that fit nearly perfectly. They are a tag 36 with a 36.1 waist and 10.8 rise. I like the lower rise and the waist is snug, just right. The UHR in a tag 35 have a 36.5 waist pre-shrunk. This would fit well before shrinking.
The Tag 36 have a 37.7 waist pre-shrunk and would be big before shrinking.
I would soak these before wearing and expect a 1" shrink in waist. Some recommendations suggest that the initial dry fit should be good and that the shrinking and re-stretching will provide the best long term fit.
So, what to do.The tag 36 waist at 37.7 is too big pre-shrink.
The tag 35 waist at 35.6 is nearly perfect at pre-shrink.Could I anticipate stretch back on the tag 35 to get to a 36" waist?
Would I be better off to try and hot shrink the Tag 36 to get to a 36" waist?Appreciate your suggestions.
Thanks, -
Hi guys!
On pictures jeans have more intense blue color.
Is there a difference with a normal pair, or it is just on pictures? -
@JeansCat I believe what you are seeing is primarily the pictures. The denim will look different depending on the light, camera being used, number of washes, what you're wearing it with, etc., and will change over the course of a day depending on those factors.

I would just ask the shop if they have 36 pair with a waist close to 37.0 or just under. My 2 cents is better one inch too loose than one too tight. The waist will stretch back after shrink so i try to make sure the thigh measurements are good as well. Best to email the IH guys though.

I just realized that the above picture doesn't belong in this thread.
The label actually says 777-UHR, not 777S-UHR.
Thus I posted some pictures over here: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum//post/786164 -
@Luijim78 Just keep in mind that these are unsanforised and loomstate, so they will shrink decently upon first soak/wash. The measurements of my 555S-UHR were all around larger than what I normally go for, but after an hourlong very hot soak and gentle agitation, it came out perfect.
Knowing that may help you decide between two sizes depending on the measurements.

@isXnext thanks friend, yes you are right, unfortunately usually even size 28 is big enough for me
, looking at the size tables I noticed that for this very reason the UHR sizes are a little larger than normal, even though every stock it differs a little from the previous one

Hey! Does anyone know if keeping these buttoned up while doing the initial soak/wash minimize waist shrinkage at that point? Thanks!
-
@drewfonse me personally always buttons up. But the UHR needs all the shrink cause it’s part of there process
-
Can't wait to have the tag size 28 in these back in stock!! Steadily waiting for their return!
-
@LittleRockRaw yes I'm also waiting for the same size, I was going to get a 29 but I preferred to wait a bit
