Y’2 Leathers….
-
Going to be fun evo on that one
-
@Oilfieldtrash soo freaking cool!
-
Are those anywhere available in the EU ?
-
@Heavy_blue it’s a collab so only available in “The Shop Vancouver”. Loving the Y2 right now. Worth every penny
-
@Oilfieldtrash that rain soak did wonders for those arm creases!! You’ve got yourself a work of art right there!!!
-
@Oilfieldtrash thanks! I was already afraid so.. shame! Beautiful jacket but with all the taxes and fee’s i would pay for 1,5 jacket haha
-
@Anesthetist - Awesome fit ! I also procured the Y2 KB-140T (size 40) a year or so ago (love it !) and am now looking at the Y2 Chore Jacket from TJ at the Shop. I'm on the fence on sizing though trying to figure out if I stick w/ the same size 40 or size up as TJ did to the 42. I saw you stuck with the same sizing for both (42). What's your take on the difference in fit between the two (shoulders, chest, waist)? Did it break in / stretch with wear? Limiting the back and forth with shipping and customs is a must @Autorotate - See you did similar w/ the Indigo 140, so any insights are also welcome ! Thanks in advance gents !!
-
@Kjunx I’ll try and get some pics of both fits today or tomorrow. My chore coat fits a little snugly by itself but can still function as a layer over an UHF. Part of me thinks it fits perfectly, part says size up.
Caveat is I have been lifting heavier this spring/summer so my larges are a little snugger around the chest/pit. Since I havent worn it in a bit I’m curious how it fits myself…..
-
@Kjunx the sizing is about the same. Maybe very slightly more generous in all dimensions in the chore. And I think that’s the point. The chore is a perfect riding, working, casual jacket. I love mine. Wish it was made in a wheat or bone color. And I’d also like a top button. But otherwise it’s super awesome.
-
@Autorotate I wish they’d released the black first, would've been my first choice
-
appreciate it, pics would be most helpful ! The chore measurements between the 40 and 42 are a minimal step up (mostly shoulders and sweep) but good to know re: layering and chest/pit fit. Thanks !
-
42 for me for both pieces…
Chore over tee
Chore over 107 🥵
Type 1 over UHF. Only good for walking, cant bend my arms enough to driveTextures
-
Thank you so much !! Can’t tell you how helpful those couple shots were ! Think I’ll go up a size to a 42 to give myself a bit of room for layering.
-
I would just say mind the shoulders as it is a pretty boxy cut.
-
@Anesthetist & @Autorotate - Thanks again for the help sizing; I ordered a 40 & 42 to compare and while the 42 fit; it was a bit too boxy in the chest (shoulders were slightly big which resulted in it fitting too loose w/ just a T-shirt on; fit was better with heavy layering). 40 allows me to wear a heavy sweater or t-shirt ++ flannel underneath which frankly is all I’d need. Grabbed a black and a tan
-
@Kjunx lets see some fits! Btw you see there is an indigo coming as well?
-
I'd been eyeing up one of the Chore shirts for a while now and finally pulled the trigger on it. It's way to hot to wear right now, but it's going to get a shit ton of wear when the weather is a bit cooler. Hand down one of the nicest shirt/coats I've ever owned. Quality is amazing, fit is amazing, it's soooo good.
Tj is such an awesome dude as well. I've known him for years and he's always super helpful! As far as fit is concerned, I'm a bigger dude so I'm wearing the 50 in this one. Fit is spot on. I've got a tee on underneath in this photo. I could probably fit a button up underneath as well, but it might be a bit snug with a heavy weight.
Chest measures 49" and i'm 6'2" (probably around the 275 lbs mark as well) -
@mr_showclass looks the bomb son and have to agree with you.. TJ is the man!
-
Looking sharp! Glad you love it and nice watch too
-
@mr_showclass I'm a sucker for that Cognac colored roughout. I have a buffalo roughout shirt from another brand and I've been wearing around the house too awaiting cooler temps.
Yours fits you great in the body, how are the cuffs when they are turned down? are they tight enough sit at the wrists or do they fall over your hands?
(man... the things I would put in those lower pockets).
