Y’2 Leathers….
-
@BorisB I wear mine on the bike, but have no issues wearing them out in town as a jeans substitute. As to fit, watch all of the videos and follow TJ’s advice. He know’s how to size them very well and will also entertain you on all of your questions that you can come up with. Just contact him via email or phone him. Great resource and great individual in the denim/leather community.

@Daniel-San how do you like the tea core? I have the steerhide, but I am trying to decide between getting the black teacore or the scar
-
@hgering27
it’s absolutely fantastic, but I am pretty sure the scar is too
are they still available? though they both sold out ? -
@Daniel-San they have the 52 in stock in the scar and 52 and 54 for the horse. my steer chore is a 50, so I was leaning towards doing a 52 in this one to have some room
-
@hgering27
ah ok the bigger sizes
I sized up to a 46 to have the chance to layer in the winter. -
@Daniel-San Good call - something tells me this next one will pack a punch
-
@Daniel-San yeah thats what im thinking, i am just stuck deciding between the two. my steerhide is 50 and it fits well, but its a bit snug when buttoned
-
Fwiw, I have a 46 in a single rider by Y2; sized up to 48 for the scar chore jacket and really happy I did. I’m an XXL in IH shirts and can squeeze into XXL in IH Jackets, but prefer the XXXL for shoulder and arm mobility

Feel like I'm being thrown for a bit of a loop with a typical type 1 fit versus a snug leather jacket fit. This is just with a tee. Easily layers a uhf. Fit feels decent in the chest, only restrictive across the back when I reach for things but would be perfectly fine for driving. Length is about perfect imo. Any other thoughts?
-
@pechelman the fit is on point
-
@pechelman that’s a damn good fit man. Shoulders are right where they should be. Length looks perfect. Nice that you have room in the chest to layer too, but still looks clean with a tee.

my kakishibu after applying mustang paste
-
@pechelman whoa the jacket looks so great on you mate!
-
@Travis thanks man
-
Looks great fellas
Here’s mine (one week new to me)
I’m a 43” chest, probably a proper 44 in this jacket but grabbed this 42 second hand.I would love to get a rough out chore shirt next.

@99Tjadams
awesome jacket !!
I have one too and love it
is yours olive ? hard to tell from the picture… -
@Daniel-San
Yes it’s olive, and in the sun is a much brighter green. I seem to collect green jackets, gives a bit of colour, goes well with black or blue.There was an olive western Y2 for sale a few days ago here, but it disappeared pretty quick.
