Still chilly!
In love with this jacked I picked up at Canada Goose in Aspen. It’s the Hybridge Base. Lightweight, packable (into a camping pillow) down coat with Cordura shell that is completely waterproof, and impeccable details like dual zip handwarmer pockets that extend all the way up to your chest, and a very warm, adjustable stowable hood. They thought of everything.
-
@Mizmazzle Unfortunately not more than 12 km a day. We have 2 kids…
-
@mclaincausey Nice looking jacket man---and im guessing feather light?
-
@mclaincausey that jacket is awesome. I bought a tan Fjallraven hooded jacket at the beginning of the winter season and have been happy with it. Only complaint is that their sizing is weird. But overall I’m happy. I wanted a proper hood, it stow-able, so that really narrowed down my choices.
-
@mclaincausey nice dude!! Looks warm as can be!! I have a feathered friends ultra packable down jacket I use for backpacking. Sometimes it just had to be down!!

@dinobarnesberlin indeed it is. Canada Goose never impressed me from afar because they use (ironically) duck and not goose down and it’s not typically high loft (usually <700 fill power). But this is definitely a quality garment that punches above its weight for warmth, and the cordura seems about on par with highly technical shell fabrics.
@Mizmazzle FF is a true down nerd / down snob brand, they are pretty much the best in the game for serious warmth IMO.

That 293 looks great on you.
I should wear mine more often
