IRON HEART WAYWT - 2023 EDITION

@the246guy Division Road has at least one recent Viberg 2055 Boondocker release and they have a very good footwear guide explaining the different lasts of the different manufacturers that they collaborate with including the Viberg 2055. My personal experience is that the 2055 last is a little more roomy than the 2030 last - the toe box is wider.
From the DR guide description for the 2055: “Based on the traditional 2045 Munson Last, anatomically designed and developed by the US army to accommodate a wide range of foot shapes, but with a lower profile toe and forefoot. The 2055 shares the same accommodative width in the forefoot as the 2045 and the same tapered waist and narrow heel. The 2055 is a great option for those whose have wider feet or desire a sleeker version of a heritage boot shape. The 2055 comes in an Original and Standard EE width in the forefoot which accommodates D to EE widths with a snug and gripped waist and heel. The 2055 is considered a Viberg Common Last on their standard grade, and is consistent to a 2030 Last size.” .

@dinobarnesberlin We didn't check out Potter's. Maybe next time. We were there for only one actual full day and resolved to do little more than rest and eat great food. Started the day with Roadhouse Coffee which was really excellent, then had a delicious breakfast at Ginochio's, and finished the day with an amazing dinner at Terrapin Creek. We try to keep our vacations as low key as possible.
