So the fab four became the fab three now. Do you think LFC will buy anyone to replace him?
Although he isn't eligible to play in the Champions League for Barcelona this season, they have a tremendous offense now: Messi, Suarez, Dembele, Coutinho… and God help every other team if Griezmann joins them in summer ???. -
I heard Liverpool may put a £30m bid to Leicester for Mahrez.

Apparently LFC have contacted Leicester to tell them specifically that they are not going after Mahrez. Lemar from Monaco is the main target. Much like Coutinho and LFC he is leaving, but his club want to get the most out of him in terms of playing time and money so a Jan deal is uncertain.

If I were Klopp I would be going after Sanchez about now, £15m would get him and he’d be an absolute bargain.

Massive mistake to field that weakened team, disrespectful to the FA Cup too. Arsenal got what they deserved today.
-
i wonder who taught them to defend free kicks like that..

Liverpool prediction today @neph93 ?

That guy… everyone needs to stop giving him attention, let alone put him on Soccer AM.
I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it’s anything other than home defeat to be honest. Even if our firepower is in working order and on top form they can match it. But I am generally a pessimist before the game, whoever we’re playing.

Wow….what a game.

Arsenal & City losing in one day, glorious!

One of the few days I root for Liverpool.
Also, I watched this game on the Spanish channel which I will do quite often. Even if you dont know the language I highly recommend you try it if there's Spanish channels in your area (Mexican Spanish). The announcers are some of the best out there IMO and just hearing them scream GOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLL is worth the price of admission. This was a perfect game to watch in Spanish.
Kudos to Liverpool.

Being a Liverpool fan myself, you can never say never until the whistle blows.

True story.
I’m enjoying all this winning-by-one-goal malarkey though. You could even argue that this game, like the Everton match and the Burnley match, are games we would have drawn last season. I thought our defence looked surprisingly decent for large parts of the game. Last 10 mins being the obvious exception.

I've got to say though that if there was about another 1-2 minutes of stoppage time I think this would have ended in a draw. Liverpool was hanging on for dear life at the end there. Either way, amazing game and so happy to see City get beat.
