wow, really great stuff all over this forum, this is my first time diving into all the non-denim stuff, and I'm in awe at the scope of passion this community has for all crafts. Here's one of mine!

One of my goals this summer was to make a painting of our boy Indigo. He passed last month. My wife and I are going to make a shrine for him in the house, with the painting as the center piece. Here is my first hour or so into the painting.

Getting back into healthy painting habits. It has been years since I was painting consistently. I think I may finally have passed my painter's block.

Self Portrait WIP. I draw blind contour portraits from life/model observation. From there, I paint in values and skin tones.

@Oaktavia Fuck yes. love this post. So much of what we do is habit forming. Good or bad (need to break my being a mush on the couch during my free time and get back to productive habits) Congrats on flexing your painters muscle of late.
