IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black

@gazza61 @bluemantra and you don't want one too small, especially with the heft this denim.
-
@Oaktavia thanks I bought mine from Witherd Fig yesterday and there size chart was a little different than Iron Hearts. Since you have both shirts do they fade differently??

Thanks everyone. I'll probably end up keeping and hopefully as it breaks in will drape better and mold to me for a better fit. It really is an awesome shirt and I love the blue color. I'm wearing my 666-XHSib with them and there is definitely a contrast difference between the two. I'd say the 666 is more Navy blue and the 409 is more a royal blue.

They might measure differently at WF but I can't say for sure. I would trust the IH measurements over anything else though.
They fade at a similar rates and are both pretty fast faders. Aside from that, the 292 has a beige weft while the 409 has a black weft. This will yield different coloration results in fading. The 292 imo is easier to wear compared to the 409 which needs a break in to make it more comfortable. The denim fabrics are much more different than they are similar. There is more to add if anyone else would like to chime in or elaborate.
-
@bluemantra I think you would regret getting rid of this amazing shirt/jacket.
-
@bluemantra if it fits and drapes anything remotely similar to the 292/293, it will take a while before the shirt knows where to fold and crease, especially through the body. On mine it was a solid couple weeks of wondering if I should have sized up, but it finally settled and formed nicely. From here it looks like a good fit; keep it is my vote as well.

@Oaktavia ok I have the 18oz 293 OD and it's start to fade just a little. Would you say that the Blue shirt us more royal blue? Mines doesn't come till tomorrow but on the website it looked more navy to me
-
@ Goz. I have the 293 OD also and yesterday i received the 409ib. The 409 is a dark blue. For reference on some previous post i jave both in 4xl and they fit almost identical with the exception that the 409 has longer sleeves. My 293 is from the previous batch and not from the current one.
-
Been wearing it since yesterday.. near real time shot from a quick walk just now
-
@Tobi does this mean you wore it to bed?!
@Goz The 409 is like a royal blue, yes I would agree. When it fades, I've been calling it like a candy blue. If you scroll to the newer posts in this thread, you'll see my fade progression from when it was new until now. Dozens of photos to look through. The 293 is overdyed so it is a regular indigo denim dunked into black. This makes it much darker, more like a midnight blue, dark af.

@Goz no my friend, the 293od is the smallest of my CPOs with the same size, if you got the same size as the 409 you will find it much more generous and comfortable
For reference my 293-OD is an XL and in the 409 I went with a L. They fit about the same.
-
@Luijim78. Is your 293 the latest batch?
-
@yannis no the previous batch, but comparing them with the last one (in size XS at least) it is almost identical, I think it depends on the fact that the Od process restricts it as much as possible. I also own the 292 in the same size and batch and it is noticeably larger and longer than the 293
-
to be clear, perhaps with these ugly photos you can understand a little the difference in fit and size: 293OD size XS, 292 indigo size XS, 409 i/b size S and 362 SBG size XS IMG_2750.jpeg

@Luijim78 hell of a CPO line up buddy
-
@Oaktavia no overnight wear .. but might try it one day! Love the colour of the 409! Thanks for the enabling!
-
My 409 just landed and am typically between medium and large. Went large due to the beefier fabric and more specifically @Oaktavia mentioning the slightly higher than usual pit cut. Outstanding size note good sir, couldn’t be happier w this piece
-
@flannel-slut Thanks my friend, I had forgotten the 362
-
@Luijim78 HA! Upvote x2!!
