IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Black

Does this denim stretch at all? Think I should stick with the large.
I tried a size medium and is more fitted by very tight in forearm area.
And my size large is looser in forearm area.
-
@bluemantra they both look good and can have different purposes. With the L you can layer and gives you a comfortable fit. The M is a fitted look but is a shirt where the L can serve as a so called shacket. Then again it’s 19oz it won’t give much imo maybe a little. But @Oaktavia would be the right one to answer that question since he rocked the sample
-
@bluemantra I don't think it stretches very much honestly, it seems quite tight and if it does it will need time, I always like it a little tighter rather than loose so I would recommend the M, but if you think the forearms are too narrow and uncomfortable the L suits you very well. p.s. she needs a few days before starting to drape her body, already from the 3/4 day you can evaluate the fit more rationally in my opinion

My biggest go to with style is comfort. If you feel uncomfortable, you’ll look uncomfortable and won’t enjoy what you’re wearing. With shirts, I never layer so always wear them as a shirt and not a “shacket”. If you feel uncomfortable in the medium go with the large. If it’s not uncomfortable, the look of the medium is nicer to me

Shacket style

@Tago-Mago thanks mate! It’s really wonderful! More heft and the feeling and slubbnes is so cool

this is what I would have said too. I would go with the L if it were my decision. The denim does not stretch.

Unfortunately this CPO just might not be for me. The L is bigger than I want and is actually tight in the forearm area as well, but not restrictive. The M fits great in all dimensions except the forearm area when I bend at the elbow. I may take a chance in the hopes of it stretching with repeated wear.
-
@bluemantra For what it’s worth. I think the L is the winner. Will have more longevity and versatility with the piece. But keep what you will wear the most. You look sharp in both sizes
-
@bluemantra like @Oaktavia said and he had the sample for more then 100 wears it won’t stretch.. all up to you offcourse but the L looks nice. Not to big but this kinda denim needs some time to settle. Still remember that my 361 looked very weird the first few wears. But that’s just my 2 cente in the end you need to wear it

@louisbosco hell yeah dude patch looks awesome on the shirt! I plan to put my Filthy patch on my 507.
-
@louisbosco freaking cool dude!

I ended up keeping the medium. My 293 is an XL and I wanted something that was more fitted and after a couple days of wear the elbow area has become comfortable now. It has either relaxed or stretched a little under stress from repeatedly bending my elbows. Thanks all for the replies and advice. Looking forward to fading this shirt and posting updates!
Is it the denim that gives this shirt a more vibrant blue compared to my XHSib or was it dyed with a different blue?

Beautiful shirt. For reference I am wearing it in size Large - my typical size for IH shirts.
-
@Cskarev wow amazing shot. The colour really shows here. What a great shirt
-
@doubletee yeah, hard to describe how beautiful this shirt is…Iron Heart have outdone themselves.
