Anyone up for some Opeth? North America tour this October, Europe in February.
-
@Tago-Mago I’ve contemplated the show near me but it’s midweek and about an hour away. I’m too old for my own good sometimes
The main draw for me is Tribulation opening, I saw them a couple of years ago and they were incredible!

yesterday evening i went to see the great Billy Cobham. when i saw him first time, 15 years ago, i was feeling lucky to see such a legend, thinking, that is probably the last chance he's on tour, being 65 at the time. now he's 80 and while he walks with the stick, he still owns the set. i'm amazed by this incredible artist.

Avram Fefer Quartet last night was wonderful. So much talent, skill and fantastic energy
-
@Mizmazzle it’s Friday no?
-
Air in LA last night
-
@mclaincausey I thought it was Friday!! Morgan told me it was Saturday. I blame her
Air comes to Denver this Friday!!!
-
@indigostiff that stage set up is incredible. So stoked!!
Need I ask how the show was?? -
@Mizmazzle I really enjoyed it - the drummer is really exceptional, and the bass player was heavy and deliberate. I enjoyed their post-moon Safari set almost as much.
-
Joined up with @Mizmazzle and crew to catch some Air. We all had been wanting to see them for decades and we all had a wonderful time. What a great band!
-
@mclaincausey Good times, all. There's an AIR subreddit that is quite interesting - r/airfrenchband that is nice to recap, too.
-
@mclaincausey so blown away by that show still. That stage set!!!! Just phenomenal performance sonically and visually.
-
@Mizmazzle glad we got to experience it together! Special indeed.
-
@mclaincausey yeah brother!! So great to catch up and hang!! Let’s do it again soon!!
-
From Reddit…
-
@indigostiff whoa!! Is that in Denver?? And I thought they wore those white suits all the time!!
-
@Mizmazzle I think it’s Denver! So demure…

I watched Ryan Adams in Wolverhampton UK last week. I enjoyed the show, he has some good material regardless of how you view his fall from Grace (engineered or not?).
A bit frustrating as due to his health issues there was very little stage lighting and I could hardly see him.
He played a solid solo set with some classic tunes included. He had some banter with the audience which was at times a bit awkward, he appears to be a somewhat troubled soul.

Next month I have tickets to see Bob Dylan, again in Wolverhampton UK. I am hoping he does at least one or two of his better known hits and not just the stuff off the current album.
Never seen him before and really unsure what to expect from his current live shows.
I must admit I bought tickets as this may be the last chance I get to see him as he is getting on in years, not sure if he will tour the UK again?
