IHSH-389-IND Launch -
Man, I'm thinking hard about this IHSH-389 and the IHSH-292 CPO for my next one. I just cancelled my 380-IND work shirt order because the arms were too tight for me. Didn't want to take the risk. Anyone own the 292? I know they're both different shirts.

@stichdown-shell apples and oranges in my opinion. Are you looking for a more ‘lightweight’ cpo or heavy CPO? Looking for sashiko or the vintage weave of the 292. So all personal preference. Due a strike in Germany delivery’s offices my 380 has a slight delay. But i choose it because:
- the sashiko weave is totally something else and new in my closet
- the lighter weight makes it a more spring/early summer shirt
- due the sashiko it looks it has another shade of blue especially in different light etc
Although the 18oz denim is pretty breathable it’s a beast on it’s own.
I would go for a 292 for the following reasons:
- 18oz heavyweight IH quality
- Use it as a overshirt
- it will fade awesome(the sashiko as well i presume) but the samples of the 292 are very cool
Beware since the 292 is a continuous production it will come back and you can pick it up later.. that’s not sure about the 380 or 389.
But in the end it’s all up to you and when you can’t make a choice? Buy both
Hope it helps!

According to the Stockists list in the first post Iron Heart Germany will not offer this one. Is that true?

When can we expect sizing on this one?
-
Just wanted to confirm if this is still a western style CPO cut with the small changes since original announcement?
-
@Heavy_blue this is a superb round-up/summary!

@Oaktavia I got the 293 which I am assuming is the OD version of this very CPO you mention? I have fallen in love with it. It’s all made me purchase the IHSH-289-RED (literally yesterday) just so I have some lighter stuff to throw under it as we move to warmer weather here in Manchester (already got the IHSH-13-BLU and wanted to get some more 10oz colour in the wardrobe).
For me it would be such an easy and logical step to get the 292 but I’m also really keen to add some ‘variety’ to my IH fabrics/colours/etc (whatever that means). I am thinking this unique fabric may provide that variety, I would expect strange and beautiful things from it if given the love it deserves ️ like others I’m a bit torn and @Heavy_blue I like how you laid it all out there -
