I will still give it 10 out of 10
Can’t go wrong with it.I was listening to Wu-Tang back in 1993.
Nowadays Rap is dead.
Today times Rapper’s want to be drug dealers
As back then was the other way around.
Roots of reality was different.
You can see the Rawness Wu-Tang
Brings out. They are what you see.
They still haven’t gone soft.Mids 90’s hip-hop was strong.
Along with 2Pac and Biggie beef going on.
3 best groups of all times.
NWA starting it all off Godfathers of Gangsta Rap
Wu-Tang bringing new shaken beats, next level of music.
G-Unit 50 Cent at time was the king of the world.
It’s end there for me.

Oh, I just clocked what you meant...
Japanese has two alphabets, hiragana and katakana, then also uses Chinese characters, called Kanji. The Japanese language has also adopted many Western words, and deploys Katakana to sound these out.
Selvedge translated into Katakana is セルビッチ or se ru bi chi
-

Alien - Yes or no… and why
I enjoy contemplating the existent of life beyond our planet. This NPR article got me thinking it might be a fun conversation to start here.

I’m a philosophical pessimist generally speaking so I’m not really on board. I tend to think of the universe in terms of time, not size. The amount of time it took for this planet to develop life and the time it took for that life to evolve makes me pretty dubious that the conditions on other planets would have lined up in such a way as to support life. As a pessimist, I place a pretty low value on the significance of life, specifically intelligent life.

I just discovered that the new movie, The Bikeriders, is based on director Jeff Nichols' brother, Ben's, song of the same name, by an old favorite band of mine, Lucero. I now have a major need to see this movie. I wonder if he used the song in there? I believe the song was based on an old picture book of biker culture or something, as seen in the music video.
-
@WhiskeySandwich yes exactly my friend, the film is based on Danny Lyon '68 photography book on the Outlaws MC... I can't wait to see it
-
@Luijim78 this is so super cool, i'm nerding out! I remember thinking when the song came out like 20 years ago that it'd make a killer movie. i didn't even realize Ben had a movie-director brother. This blew my mind today. Decent motorcycles movies are extremely few and far between. Very psyched.

@WhiskeySandwich Some amazing shots from the book in @steelworker 's post here:
https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum//post/817701I went to see the movie last week, loved it! Great soundtrack all the way through!

@WhiskeySandwich yes it's very true, I didn't know the song thanks for letting me know it mate. I was already checking which cinemas it's showing in this weekend... p.s. the costume designers used Schott jackets, a line of jackets from the film is in production, I have to take a look at this on the Schott site too
