IHM-43-NAV - Nylon Type L-2B Flight Jacket - Navy Blue
-
@Graham The length concerns me the most, but it's about the same as a type 3
-
Love this one (and the duck version!).
@Graham Thanks for pointing that out. Would be great to see some photos of someone trying on some different sizes, if possible.

I still cannot believe a nylon jacket is my top WANT in this collection!
That was my initial thought, but it's one of the best looking jackets I've seen is a while.

goes without saying, but its designed to be a short fit
-
Glad it's short. Well, my wallet is at least. Sometimes reproductions are toooo accurate?
-
Need to see some fit pics from the party guys. I’m stuck at home with a sick wife and kids or I’d be there
-
@doubletee sorry to hear this man. I can only imagine the emotions you’re going through haha
-
@Mizmazzle too real mate. It’s only 2 hours from me so it’s hurting
-
@doubletee 2 hours!!?? Oh dude!! Brutal!! Have you considered giving the family a double dose of NyQuil and slipping out the door?

Some fit pics:
Sizing reference:
My usual IH jacket size, which is XL. I am 179cm tall. Length suits me perfectly for a bomber, the waistband cuff overlaps with the waistband on my jeans, which are the 888 cut.
-
In case it helps, and for a bit of a flourish, here’s a couple of macros of the fabric in the rain:
-
Damn that looks good
-
Verdict after a 45 minute walk in moderate rain, it’s not waterproof, but it is water repellent and resistant. Where the water sat on my shoulders it eventually seeped into the fabric, but where it was on my front and back it dripped off before it could seep in.
And the lining is nice and warm. Didn’t feel the cold or wetness underneath the jacket at all.
-
@JerkStore Why thank you.
-
@EdH Thanks for the photos, looks great!
