IHM-43-NAV - Nylon Type L-2B Flight Jacket - Navy Blue

In case it helps, and for a bit of a flourish, here’s a couple of macros of the fabric in the rain:
-
Damn that looks good
-
Verdict after a 45 minute walk in moderate rain, it’s not waterproof, but it is water repellent and resistant. Where the water sat on my shoulders it eventually seeped into the fabric, but where it was on my front and back it dripped off before it could seep in.
And the lining is nice and warm. Didn’t feel the cold or wetness underneath the jacket at all.

@JerkStore Why thank you.
-
@EdH Thanks for the photos, looks great!

Goddamnit @Graham
Now I dont know. How's the sleeve length? -
@Graham Thank you, that was helpful
-
@EdH What's your ideal chest size in IH? Just wondering re: XL in this jacket.

Lots of retailers are carrying this one. I'd bet you can get one from them!
-
I added it to cart while I was checking out with the Sashiko and it checked out with both. Kinda worked out with the XL sold out now. Good times.
-
@rheubanks what @Paul9221 said. Check the list of stockists in the first post
-
Yep. Just grabbed one from one of the stockists. whew!
-
Whoa, one of the only pieces I wanted to get and XL is already sold out. I'm very sad.
-
@jevans41 Sorry, just seen your Q.
It's hard to say as different fabrics have different thicknesses, etc. In a UHF flannel I usually go for ~23 inches in the P2P measurement. I can go a bit thinner in something that will stretch, like a T-shirt, and usually size down to an L in those for a fitted look.
For reference, I just measured myself at 42inches around my chest (taken at nipple height) but was a bit tricky to measure myself.

@Neru-6 Checked the other stockists? See the first post.
