@long_john86 man yep I agree that this is dialed! Looks great.
-
@long_john86 Looks great! Work shirt isn't as tailored as their westerns. Enjoy the comfort and the look.
-
Thank you for all your feedback/comments.
Decision made - I’m going to be returning this back to the crew unfortunately.
The sleeve length isn’t quite where I need it to be, and the reality is that once the creases set in I will only be losing more of that much needed sleeve length.
Whilst not quite visible from the front the body is also a bit too ‘spacious’ for my liking. Maybe if it was a UHF I’d feel different but was hoping for a slightly more fitted body on this baby.
Sometimes you just need to learn when to let go in this game…. Plenty more fish in the sea (I’m thinking the @Mizmazzle ) -
@meatmarketdenim1 FYI, don't know if the timing works out for you or not but James Dant is releasing their stock today at 11 AM ET. They say they only have 10 units total.
-
@long_john86 man I think you’ve got a winner there! Sleeves don’t look too short to me at all. They will come up a bit perhaps, but the fabric should also relax a good amount as well I’d imagine.
-
Mine arrives today, the suspense is killing me!
-
Yeah @long_john86 I agree with @Mizmazzle, doesn’t look too short at all in the sleeve, and personally I associate the work fit with a little more room in the body. Of course if you’re not feelin’ it, you’re not feelin’ it. Could always sleep on it for a couple days!

I'm very tempted to order a size up even though my first size hasn't showed up yet . It just irks me that some stockist refuse return and make you exchange it.
-
@Denimminer I have found that more the norm recently, which is weird. If they're out of your preferred size (to exchange to) - which in this case is likely, you're basically SOL with a credit.

Not that I'd have a problem finding something to exchange for especially with new UHFs coming out but sometimes I'll exchange for something I wouldn't normally buy just for fear of the store credit being "lost"
-
@popvulture cheers dude. It really is the sleeves that are the deal breaker for me unfortunately. There will always be that little voice in the back of my head that I won’t be able to shake. I’d accept that for a lesser garment, but not for this beauty. We win some we lose some. Holding out for what comes next!

That's the way I was with the 12oz cpo, just a tad short where if I lifted my arms the skin on my waist would show. Had to cut losses....then I ordered this

Where do you live where store credit can be lost?

The USA , I'm just saying I don't trust computers them going down, "no record of you having $415 credit" scenario.
I did order a XL from jamesdant so I'll have a L and XL. -
@Denimminer But they don't accept returns either, do they? So you'll have a credit there then?

Just keep an email copy as a record and anxiety should subside. I also really hate how no stores accept refunds anymore. Just completely gone.

They do not, and the Large I got from ironshopprovisions and they don't either. This shouldn't be hard to off load if i want to do it myself I suppose to recoup.

@long_john86 I’m not even tall at 5”10 and can see where you are coming from.. I recently ordered 3 UES flannels direct from Japan for a great price and while the quality was great and they fit pretty much spot on.. the sleeves seemed too short after wearing pretty much nothing but Iron Heart. I love that with IH I can fully stretch my arms out in front of me and they still cover my fore arms.. is that weird
