Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

Jules has just bought a pair of Superga mid top sneaker in corduroy which set our minds racing. She retrieves her Iron Heart Corduroy Type lll and lays it against her new Supergas and the idea is formed;
IHSN-01 in Corduroy

Are there any plans for a type II ? I would love a 21oz type ii !
If i search, the japanese shop has a ihj 51 and a ihj 71. The 71 is listed as extint at ironheart uk. you just dont stock it or is it extinct in japan too? I cant read anything on the japanese site. They have a 51 too which i cant even find at iron heart uk…?
So many questions... thanks !

I'm XL most of the time, sometimes L or XXL in my 9526pj for example. So not sure without measurements.
What's the difference between the 51 and 71 ?Gesendet von meinem SM-A505FN mit Tapatalk

Different denim.
IHJ-71 is no more.
IHJ-51 - 18oz vintage denim, there is one xl left in Japan, that I may be able to get for you…..
I wear an L in that jacket, my dms are here:

Man I'm tempted but it's a little bit of a gambling without measurements right? And I'm not the biggest fan of cinch backs, the 51 has them where as the 71 dont…
Is there a chance you'll do another run of type IIs anytime soon ?Gesendet von meinem SM-A505FN mit Tapatalk

I don't know if it has been asked before but are you guys ever going to be making a Perfecto or a D pocket jacket?
-
That’s one drop dead gorgeous, super cool jacket.
Seconded. It looks so solid, bullet proof in fact. I'm not surprised all the staff want one . . . . I'd like one

This may be 1 too many variations but would H consider a 9 oz version of the IHT-1600 fabric? i have the long and short sleeve in the 11 oz. fabric and it is unreal. My wife, who just plain doesn't think this hobby is worth the money, is completely floored by how great the 1600 is. I do have a concern that on the hottest summer days, it will be too heavy.
I think 9oz. would be the perfect in between weight from the classic IH tee and the 11 oz beast.

I know there has been a jacket, but have IH made a Corduroy shirt? Western or Work? I've always had a version in my closet over the years, but usually they aren't made to a high standard.

Thank you. I had visions of one, but couldn't remember. Would be good to see something like that again.

Ok… this is a long shot, but the IH-712 were perhaps my favorite pants of all time - until the thighs got a little snug after a few washes lol (View them here if you didn't get a chance to experience the greatness: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/extinct/ih-712.html)
How well do you think it would do over to do a run of these in a lighter-weight denim more commonly used on shirts - such as the 12oz denim from the IHSH-33 or even the grey or blue herringbone from the IH-803?
The buckleback was great, the top block was flattering, and the leg opening was a nice size. Even if the cut was tweaked to the 888 cut a la the Division Road collabs, the round pockets, buckleback and chino hem would still be exceptionally sharp!
Well @Appfaff , exciting times.
Samples are due tomorrow, and I'm preternaturally excited to see how they have turned out…..
(I may have accidentally had them made in my size
)

@Giles Holy cow that was fast! I seriously can't wait to see… I have been dreaming of some thick hemmed Buckle Backs in IH denim since my initial post
-
Tom san has warned me that the cinch back on the samples is a little compromised. Because of the heft of the denim, the cinch construction ends up a little thick for the buckle. I'm thinking that we will line the non-face with a twill, a heavy indigo chambray or a light wabash in the production version
