Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I knew I’d seen you mention those asym jackets somewhere
Digging the potential leather type III vest. Intrigued by the idea of more leather types in general, too.

@Giles
will there be a 21oz ib 526 ??
thought I read it somewhere -
oh no

A dark grey/charcoal denim would be awesome.
And…more storm riders. I really want to break one in myself as opposed to buying a used one when they rarely pop up.

Just spouting a couple ideas:
1.) Adding a zipper behind the buttons on the chore coat would take it to the next level.
2.) Rounded, flap pocket work shirts. I know IH won't make things because other brands are, but its a classic shape that I think would look incredible in IH fabrics (e.g. 10oz OD denim, chambrays, maybe even flannels etc). I can only own so many shirts in the same workshirt design lol.
3.) Single yoke western shirt in denim

Hi all! I'm a newbie to Iron Heart (and forum usage more generally) so please excuse my naiveté, but I was wondering if the 1955 cut has ever been offered in anything other than the 21oz or 21/23oz UHR weights? I think it's a fantastic cut and could be the perfect summer/warm weather jean if it was available in lighter weights (14-17oz).

As far as I remember the only other iteration was the 21oz, but over-dyed. Like many other satellite cuts, the 1955 has a small but loyal following. That is enough to keep them being made (just), but not enough to warrant runs in other iterations.
One thing worth knowing is that many find the 21oz denim more wearable in heat than the 14oz. Personally I find the 16oz slub to be the best summer weight denim from IH. Also, the 888 is very similar to the 1955, so the IH-888s-SLB may be of interest to you.

888 in White medium weight would be welcome ….

Thanks for your response! I didn't realize that the 14oz had a tighter weave than the 21oz. I guess that just means I'll have to save up and try the 21oz 1955 and 888 cuts

I like the bell logo idea too

Same, I was picturing this on my board shorts proposal too

This popped up in a Facebook ad and I immediately became obsessed with the idea of an IH version in the 14oz BB denim.
-
This might have been suggested already, but the Slubbies are up there with some of my favourite denim. Possible to make a heavier version? 21oz?
Possibly, but the mills can't make enough of what we already offer, so we have to be very careful with what new denim we make because it will affect the production of the current denim we offer….
Which is why you are seeing more non-denim pants in the seasonal collections....

Makes sense! Just thought I'd throw it out there since I enjoyed the fabric. Hope the cords do well this season and make their way into slimmer cuts as well.
