Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

It's a really difficult thing to do with any hope of getting demand right. We have done loads of variants of the M65, so we would thus have to make hoods for all variants (because if we did not, you can bet your bottom dollar that someone would bitch) and we would have to guess how many to make of each variant. Well, that's sort of what we always have to do but there is a significant difference here, if we make too many shirts (for instance), we still have an item of clothing to sell at a discount, if we make too many hoods, we only have a hood to sell.
Years ago, H said to me in a very pleased tone of voice, that he was going to make an M65 with an optional liner. I asked him what the fuck he was going to do with a load of unsold liners at the end of the season. He decided it was not such a good idea after all....

Has IH ever made a pair of swimming shorts? I was sat on the beach last week wishing I was wearing IH.
In my mind the pattern would be based on the IH-726 cargo shorts, but made out of a quick drying blend with a little stretch for comfort while swimming. I prefer the kind of swim shorts that go over a pair of speedos (rather than that ghastly sewn-in netting) and I like to be able to pat them down with a towel after a swim, and only have to wait another 10-30 minutes for them to be dry enough to put my shit in the pockets and head straight to a bar or restaurant.
Edit: and one of the back pockets should have a zipper closure, e.g. for cash to be safe when swimming.

Have you ever sold banners?
Would definitely love to have a big sheet of IH denim with the IH logo. 21oz, 25oz, 19L you name it.Would be a cool reference as well, to compare the untouched denim with whatever item you're wearing as it's fading.
(Perhaps a good use for some of the rejected/imperfect denim, if you'd rather use the good stuff for clothing, and Haraki would allow it)

How about a waxed CPO. Either canvas or denim.

I love the new A2 deck jacket, and I'm sure it will sell out quickly.. but I already have an N1 deck jacket in olive, so it's a bit difficult to buy another olive one, so I hope it will return next year maybe in a gray or black version 🩶

Pennants out of scrap fabric would be really cool. Old school baseball style. With some sick Tetsu-San graphics. That would be a great add on to increase the average sale quantity.
We have been working on various concepts using scrap denim from the RE:LOVE program. Watch this space

This is a cool idea, and we have asked but seems to be something Haraki is not comfortable doing as despite our many questions we never seem to see any results
