Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?

I’d like to see a western in a lightweight poplin fabric. I know IH is known for its heavyweight fabrics but when it gets warmer out an even lighter weight option would be nice. I wonder if an overdyed linen Western can be done? Non-sawtooth

I’d love to see a white linen non-sawtooth western, that would be a great replacement for the two 67’s that I sold recently. Would make a great summer shirt.

I'd like to see a vest version of the IHJ-74 (which i've photoshopped above). The things i'd change would be make it shorter in length, and remove the chest pockets and give it two front slash pockets like the IHJ-38 Primaloft Riders jacket. I have a cheap Orvis quilted vest that I wear the sh*t out of, but it's cheap. I like the idea of an IH version suited for Fall/Spring layering.

Very nice indeed. Great idea and good work.

was that an iron heart cuff link i saw on the instagram story? something with the likes of a cpo button???

those cufflinks are clever

Those are some fun cufflinks!
Oh… and since you're asking... A tiny wee batch of 463-XHSib. That's what I think you should make

Just some last minute improvisation by Giles when I realised I had forgotten my 'real' cufflinks i needed for a thing last night
they actually look really good. any chance of making this a product? surely there'll be some of us guys that wear suits with cufflinks on the odd occasion..

^haha shucks you've caught me off guard there..

I've mentioned it in the particular shirt thread but might as well officially register it here…
I'd love a reissue of the IHSH-193, or just something very similar in a non-brushed flannel western. That thing is so awesome and I'm perpetually bummed that I missed it.

^I agree, the fabric is one of the best IH has ever made. The weight and feel make it a very versatile Shirt. Would love to see some of the UHF Patterns made in this fabric (non brushed).

I think @mclaincausey suggested something similar, that is, to introduce these types of flannels every year. The 193 and 129 comes to mind. I love my green 129 and i'm super bummed I didn't pull the trigger on the 193.

^ second that; single yoke preferred.

how about a modified type III in green duck with a moleskin collar?
Wow. This would be the most epic type III jacket if made.

It would likely be a tough sell imo because of the color. I only suggested it because IH already has the regular modified duck type III. I've kinda backed off of the moleskin collar idea too because I actually prefer IH's cord collars.
I still want a modified/unlined version of the 533 with a khaki cord collar. That would be my dream but it ain't happening. I think lined jackets serve their purpose but my reasons for unlined are: easier to clean and wearing a UHF underneath would essentially be the same as a blanket lined type III imo.
