Dyeing clothes changing colour.

@Oaktavia That was the purple one? You’d never have thought it. If so, did you not like it, or were you just in a ‘vat frenzy’? The effect is f cool though!
How long was it hanging in the tree?
-
@Mister_Brue yup it was the purple one. After subsequently buying a couple purple shirts from Giles, I figured I had enough purple. Plus a little vat frenzy.
Haha. It was on the tree since Saturday.
-
@Oaktavia “Tie dye tree dry”! Pretty good tongue twister. Looks rad!
-
@Mister_Brue lol
-
@Oaktavia I loved reading all of that! Definitely giving this a go when my current white tees are looking a little tired.
-
-
@cityofdelusion I remember that. Duck OD’d indigo could be fun.
-
@pechelman Probably sensible.

Maybe I'll try something using an offcut from a pair of pants...
What have you got to lose?

Happy Sundye!
Got a couple tees I’m giving the Dylon’s treatment. I have high hopes for the smoke grey IHTB-06 combo
Will update tomorrow when they’re done and dry
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot hmm interesting looking forward to seeing the results, cool idea.
-
Not the best lighting today to see the colours, but very pleased with how they turned out
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot I’m not sure why, but I was expecting these to come out much darker. Depends on the smoke I suppose.
Interesting how the dying process has created two different shades of red. Is this as obvious in reality?

Same. I’ll get better photos up eventually, but the ribbed collar is definitely darker than the stripes.
Vintage blue turned out how I had hoped, pic doesn’t show much. Prolly should have just waited for better light
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot Oh, had you dyed the t-shirt?
-
@Mister_Brue it’s extra vintage-y
