No, because the weft in the sbg is black reactive dyed not white. So the warps are the same, but the wefts are different…..
All 21 oz black overdyed models are 21oz indigo (white weft, indigo warp) denim
sbg is black sulphur rope dyed warp/black reactive dyed weft
21oz in the 7301 is black sulphur rope dyed warp/undyed weft -
No.
The 666Sod is garment dyed after production. The blue jean is dunked in a vat of dye and the dye penetrates the core of both the weft and the warp.
The 7301 has a black rope dyed warp (so it has a white core - this is what rope dying does as the yarns go through the vats of dye twisted so that there is high surface tension that the dye cant penetrate).
So the 7301 will fade like a normal blue jean, just from black to grey. The overdyed jeans never expose a white core because there is none.

I was just inspecting the details on these jeans and needless to say, they are pretty cool. The stitching is way thicker that the other pairs of IH's that I have. Does anyone know if there is a reason that they don't show the selvedge seam on the inside seam? Maybe they made these out of left over material?
