IHG-035-TAN - Calf Folding Wallet - Tan
-
It really does, but as with most things I just get a little bored
-
I'm a huge fan if the IH leather pieces and even though I now use cordovan wallet I feel like I'm cheating on my IH-FW.
-
Wow How Long Did That transformation Take? WhAt Did You Use And How often Did You Apply? Seriously Sick
-
It's about 3-4 years. I had one from the first batch we made. I don't think it has ever had any treatment, possibly one Obenauf LP, but if so it was years ago.
Wow like i said pure beauty and i love the indigo transfer on the stitching awesome. I'm getting Sooooo tempted to get this ASAP!!!

does anybody have experience with this wallet as compared to wild child ( http://www.selfedge.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=79&products_id=572 )
trying to decide which one to get if either the main thing i like on the wc is the ring for a chain but would like to hear other opinions thanks -
I have both I'll try to get some pics for you.

How thick is this thing? I am looking for something I can switch between my jeans and dress pants.

Mine is at home and I'm not but without the center piece, this wallet can do double duty IMO.
-
Thanks, I have the Wild Child, and it can't do double duty.

Here are some comparison photos between the WC wallet and the IH-FW as requested ( sorry they are a little dark). The FW is much more manageable, especially if you don't wear jeans everyday.
-
^Great post, need more of these! I've owned both and never realized how much larger the wild child was!
-
Anesthetist, thanks for posting these pictures. Very informative. It looks like the double section of leather across the folding spine of the Wild Child wallet is where the major difference in thickness is generated.
I am looking to replace my wild Child Wallet with something slimmer and the FW looks a good option.
I also have my eye on the IH-SW in Cordovan Oxblood. Similar size to the FW but I am not sure how much use I would get out of coin pouch. I am a creature of habit and have never used a wallet with a coin pouch, so I am concerned that the coin pouch would be a redundant feature for me at least.

Have you considered the cordovan card holder? It is a little less expensive and has even better leather (IMO), but is smaller. I've carried a similar wallet with a money clip in the past and found it very convenient. In fact, the IH cordovan piece is high on my list ATM.
-
Anesthestist, some good suggestions thanks, will definitely give them some thought.
Using the cordovan card holder teamed up with money clip, would the money clip sit inside the card holder loose or would you try to secure the money clip onto the card holder?
Excuse my naivety here but I have not played round with wallet types or set ups, hence the basic questions.

I usually just keep my clipped cash in my left front pocket. I love money clips and have about 12! My current users are from William Henry and Louis Vuitton.
