Out of curiosity, when you say you live outside Charlotte, which town are you in?
I ask, since I grew up in Charlotte and most of my family still lives there. My brother moved to Raleigh, which proves his poor judgment…
-
I live in Pineville, NC.
-
Many years ago, so did I.
Across from the James K. Polk birthplace, in an apartment complex whose name escapes me.
-
I know exactly where you mean. I drove by it today. I live on what used to be the Pineville Golf Course. I have been there about 3 year.

Does Sabal Point ring a bell? Was the German restaurant Waldhorn there?

Hi everyone! My name is Nick, from Massachusetts, USA - affectionately known as the Beautiful Berkshires! I love the forum and figured it was about time to introduce myself rather than lurking! I'm currently breaking in some 666-XHS and having a blast! Along with those I have an Alpaca N1 and a few other amazing IH pieces helping to keep me warm this winter! Giles and crew have been awesome, as expected, and I can't wait to see what comes out next! Thanks to all the members for facilitating such a great environment, it truly is unlike anything else!!! -Nick

Thank you for the welcome.
Giles. I don't work in the North Sea anymore. Down in Africa & Brazil mainly. All the major players are claiming poverty, (yeah right), & everyone has to tighten their belts somewhat now the price of oil has dropped. It's forecasted to start increasing in Q3.

Hey,
I didn't really get into denim until 2008. I've only worn Nudies from that point until now. (the was one pair of 19oz NF in there). I finally decided to take a plunge into the Iron Heart world 4 weeks ago and I bought a pair of 666-XHS. After the initial stretch, they've been great! I initially bought them for when I'm on my bike but I've worn them pretty much exclusively since I got them. It was hard but I just sent them off the RCFG to get hemmed and can't wait to get them back.
I'm located in Winnipeg, Manitoba, CA it's -44C today so the 25oz also will help me stay warm until it warms up and I can get my Harley on the road.

Welcome @twism_23 , sounds like you're going to need a heavy knit sweater or quilt lined flannel to go with those jeans in that temperature
