Montpelier is boss. Cadbury House still there?

Just around the corner. I used to work for a guy who knew the lot at Wickwar (who may still run the Cadbury indirectly IIRC) and it's not a bad pub by any measure.
Hi Veeoh. Lived in Bristol for about 20 years but now in Keynsham
Keynsham's getting close to being popular! I had a look when I was moving, but I do like to be in the thick of it.
Maybe next year -
Hi all!
I suppose I should post something introductory. I'm George-I live just outside Philadelphia. I have been wearing IH for a bit now. I love the 634s cut-haven't tried the 634 yet but I love that double indigo with the tonal stitching!
My wallet hates my recent induction into the flannel game. I've owned a few highend flannels but have yet to grab an IH that I love. I do have a couple of western shirts (the IHSH-13 was just picked up from the PO straight from Japan!) and the quality is unbelievable.
Anyway I am a huge IH fan-incredible quality, style etc. I work in and around universities so I can generally wear jeans every day…which is probably one of the biggesr benefits! Anyway I'm happy to be here!Enviado desde mi iPhone utilizando Tapatalk

hello. I'm Mike from Houston, Texas. expecting arrival of 666xhs any day now. will be my 1st pr of Iron Hearts. i'm a bit nervous about their fit. excited to finally have a pair tho. never seen a pr before, truth be told. i've lost 60lbs over the last year and have another ~40 to go. figured houston weather coupled with 25oz denim, would help .
Cheers

Hi all,
My name is Chris, and I hail from Salt Lake City, Utah. I love WWII era clothing, and own both original and reproduction garments. I specifically love A-2 jackets, tanker jackets, and field jackets. I own both Buzz Rickson and RMC stuff, and have now discovered Iron Heart!
Thanks for having me!

Now we got a skeleton in the (denim) closet…..and shall need someone from Cambridge to balance it all off again!
Quick editing....where are my manners?
A warm welcome to you! -
Hello everyone. I've been researching heavier flannels lately, and figured I would join the forum. Can't wait for the release of the purple ones again, I'll be one of the first in line. Gonna have to try the 21 oz denim too at some point; you know, for science reasons…

Welcome, yinzer! Good luck being first in line for UHF's. That line is long and tends to form early (especially if you are XL[emoji16]) [emoji1] Looking forward to hearing your opinions on both UHF and 21oz. Great to have you here.

Though I've posted here from time to time in the past, I haven't properly introduced myself in this thread, and it's high time!
My name is Tyler and I've had the Iron Heart bug since I inquisitively walked into Self Edge 9 years ago to see what "that heavyweight Japanese stuff" was all about, but 100% certain that I'd be content with my Nudies, and would under no circumstances be insane enough to breach the $300-mark for a pair of jeans. That resolve lasted less than a second after touching the first pair of 634s hanging on the rack, and that trip to Self Edge drastically altered my life. My first two pairs of jeans from Self Edge were Iron Hearts (both the SExIH01 collabl and the SExIH03 cyclist collab) and they helped form a deep love for the brand, particularly the 21oz denim.
The next couple years involved me buying and selling a lot of jeans to find what I liked/what fit me best, moving to Los Angeles, developing an obsession with Mister Freedom, and eventually, being hired as the first employee at Self Edge Los Angeles. While in Los Angeles, I got away from IH, less because of the weather relative to heavyweight denim (as most of you here know, 21oz IH Selvedge denim is plenty comfortable in weather that permits the wearing of ANY kind of pants), and more because I got intrigued by the esoterica of Levis replicas, and more esoteric workwear. Though I'd describe LA as the lull with my relationship to Iron Heart, I have been wearing my IHB-01 (Super Heavy Cowhide Belt-Natural Leather, SE exclusive) everyday for almost 8 years, so I never really got that far from it! Additionally, I picked up the Dark Rider Flannel, which was an all time great IH piece done in collaboration with SE (which I managed to lose a couple years later…shame, it was my favorite shirt) and IHSH-21-indigo Chambray, which fits me better than anything I own to this day!
I moved to Portland, OR in 2013 to open and manage Self Edge Portland. It didn't take long being in Portland to realize that there's no better climate for owning lots of Iron Heart, and also that there's no better clothing to be heavily invested in than Iron Heart (adding bits of merino wool base layers as needed from your chosen provider of such things) if you live in the Pacific Northwest! Though my closet is incredibly minimal these days, I have my IH belt, a heavyweight hoodie, the aforementioned chambray (and it's counterpart in black, a recent addition), a recent Black/Grey UHF (closest replacement I'm likely to get for my Dark Rider, also an incredible shirt!), and a heavily adorned Sonny's Vest (IH-9526V). I'm not wearing any IH jeans right now but the last pair of jeans I wore for any duration of time were my 21oz. 633s that were worn for about a year and turned out beautifully. My younger brother and former SE co-worker Jonathan have inherited the awesome IH jeans I amassed while wearing those (634S-B, 9634s, IHxB01 UHR) and then promptly shrunk myself out of...fortunately both of those guys wear their jeans hard, so I get to see my old jeans aging beautifully.
I left Self Edge at the end of 2015 to launch a denim-repair brand called Indigo Proof, with my good friend, repair-wizard, Rain Delisle. We're both partial to Iron Heart, and are very happy at how many Iron Hearts have been sent in for hemming/repair in our first month! All of the repair work Rain does is incredible, but the way that the darning sinks into the heavy fabrics of Iron Heart denim is truly something unique and is just one more reason why Iron Heart are amongst the best jeans to own the world over!
I'm excited to be a more regular participant here, and catch up on some of what I've missed has been going on in the broader Iron Heart world...so much good stuff, and so many people having fun!

Hi guys. Greetings from Edinburgh. Long time lurker here and find this forum a mine of information and inspiration. I've got quite a few IH items now, but my main focus seems to be on vests and shirts (although I also have the 634S and 526J), although it can't stay that way forever.
I'm looking forward to the upcoming releases and hope to check out exactly what's meant to be so good about the UHF on a trip to London and R&H soon.

Welcome, we have another Pittsburgher or two roaming around these parts. My brother lives in Morgantown so I make it up to that area pretty often. Good climate for wearing lots of IH!
