IH-634SV - The Vulcan - 18oz Raw Straight Cut Jean (With Hidden Pockets)
-
I'm thinking of re-running these without the leather knife protector on the front pocket. Basically the Vulcan V2, would you guys prefer that? Basically it would be a 18oz version of the 634S….
Yes, please!

can someone put up images of a well lived in pair of these? curious to see how the knife protector looks after some use. thank you

I beat the hell out of mine for about 10 months before I couldn't wear them anymore because my legs got too thick from working out. They are a more slim cut of the 634S which are already a slim cut for me
I'll post up pics of mine when I get a bit more sunlight though my living room windows
Giles is right, the patch turned a lot of people off (not sure why, the patch is pretty subdued), but if you do away with the leather patch on the outside, I would recommend putting a patch of denim on the inside of the pocket with the same profile.
I'm toying with the idea of getting another pair sized up to accommodate my legs, and I wouldn't have to worry about a loose waistband because I would be tucking a weapon in my waistband

Never was a fan of the leather triangle, too. But then, I also don't carry around knives, brass knuckles and firearms. Must be doing sth. wrong.

I just ordered my second pair. I don't have a problem with the leather triangle. And yes they are slimmer and seem to have a slightly lower rise. I sized up this time. I'll let y'all know what I think.
Might be forselling my size 31x 31. They fit me but tight.
Effe loosing weight. I'll buy the next size up. Ha -

The patch doesn't do anything for me. Love the 18oz - love the fit. Don't understand why they don't sell better.

If they had a 36 inseam after a soak I'd definetly pick a pair up, perfect for work. Right now I wear 634sb for work.

thanks for the images. the leather looks none the worse for wear. . .
