Those old GMTs are great and one of the only Rolex's that is under valued in my humble view. Only thing is be careful with the bezel as it's easy to mark but impossible to replace with one that has such lovely historical wear and ageing.

I'm not familiar with Bruno Söhnle but Watchbuys, our Sinn distributer carried them. When the contract ended, they sold them pretty close to cost. I figure at 60% off, I'd give it a shot. The brand mostly sells quartz watches, but they also have a mechanical line both of which are made in Glashütte. It's no Lange or Nomos but the build quality is good and they even decorated the Ronda movement. Not bad by my book!

Hodinkee pitted a Milgauss and a Master Chronometer against a 4,000 Gauss magnet for science!
It's a fun read, and should appeal to those of us who like antimagnetic watches, along with the Rolex fans. Makes me think that I should save up for an Air King.
Meanwhile aBlogToWatch compared a Rolex Submariner to a Tudor Black Bay. Unfortunately no mad science was involved in the article, but I figured that the Rolex and Tudor aficionados around here would appreciate it.
