Watches - another OCD problem

well, considering that I had to read the damn instructions on how to get the crown to pop out, I am obviously outside of my league hahaha
but yes, I did set it to the official time standards

Panerai have just announced the PAM 721, which is a really simply two handed watch. It's unusual for not having their logo on the dial, according to the recycled press release on Hodinkee, it's the second time they've done this.
As I said a few posts back, I'm not usually a Panerai fan, but again I find myself liking this one.

Where is the crown?
I like the looks of that one -
Where is the crown?
I like the looks of that oneHuh. I didn't even notice that. It's in the usual spot- 3:00, but you have to check out the other pictures to see it. Must be an odd angle, even though it looks like it's straight on.

There was an event at the local Omega boutique yesterday, and I got invited along. No doubt they were hoping that I'd buy something.
One lucky guy got to pick up his #speedytuesday Speedmaster. His son was hoping that he'd get to wear it, but didn't feel confident that would happen anytime soon. It's a nice looking watch, sorry about the subpar photo.
An even luckier guy picked up The 1957 Trilogy, which consists of a Speedmaster, Seamaster 300, and Railmaster. Just so that you can hate him more, he was wearing a worn Rolex Pepsi GMT, and had a ceramic Daytona with him. (I think that @louisbosco would have mugged him. With my help.)
I took a look at a couple of Globemasters. This is the limited edition platinum annual calendar. A bit outside my price bracket…
The standard Globemaster in two-tone. It's a nice watch, but I feel it's one of those things that I should like, but doesn't gel for some reason.
Of the blingy watches, I liked the De Ville Trésor in white gold the best. It's a handwound design, but doesn't look too flash.
Here's a better photo of the limited edition Seamaster 300 I posted a few days ago. I was trying to persuade the son of the Speedy Tuesday's owner that he should get this, but he's keener on a Tudor Black Bay. It sold a couple of minutes after I took this photo.
Lastly, the Ploprof. This one has a titanium dial, and feels a bit lighter and more comfortable than the Seamaster, above. It's probably my favourite watch that Omega make, though I'd be tempted by the orange bezel version.

Thinking of picking up one of those, Giles? They're cheap as chips, and I assume even more so in China.

Welcome to the Sinners @Appfaff [emoji48]
This came in the mail from Seiya-san. One of the most beautiful dials I’ve seen and for under $400!

Jeremy Clarkson doesn't like Rolex wearers.
There might be a reason for that.
