Watches - another OCD problem

I'm presuming not your Discus Burger, for which the answer would obviously be yes. For a more ordinary watch, I'd say probably. Could just be the rate adjustment pointer thingy (and yes, that is the technical term:) ) got knocked out of position and a repair guy could readjust it for a few pounds. At the very least, someone competent could tell you how expensive the repair would be.

I've got an Omega Seamaster and like it quite a lot. Alternate that with a Tag Monaco and a Cartier Tank. I think if the Tank was a manual wind instead of quartz it would be my favourite.

That is beautiful. Couldn't imagine parting with it!

Any Bremont fans on here?
After a long spell flipping various watches, eventually settled on this Supermarine (sorry for crap iPhone pic) and a silver dial ALT1-C. They're a superb second-hand buy IMO, seriously well put together.

A good local watchmaker can save LOTS of headaches. The problem is finding one.
I found one up the road (www.watchworks.co.uk), it is being fixed (hairspring problem).
