I've decided to post this here since it's still heavyweight related. So, a little backstory: I love the work that Ray at The Blackacre did with my wallet so much that I decided to ask him about making me another one. I kept the cuttoffs from my MBBs and purchased one of the Iron Heart silver rings. I asked Ray about making a wallet that would incorporate both - a heavyweight wallet if you will. I don't have it in my possession yet, but the teaser photo that Ray sent me has me too excited not to share.
And without further ado - here is what will soon be my Blackacre wallet with 25oz iron heart denim.Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 4

Brilliant.

Now that it's cooling off in the evening I can try to get a bit more wear before I start wearing them full time again in Autumn.

Crap, I think I was thinking mega said 3 months per challenge so I was thinking end of sept for the second one, we are so busy with the little kids and work.. The zoo is as great outdoors as it gets..
Also did some half ass repairs on these babies, hopefully it holds till I can pay someone to do a real repair or two.

Honestly, I don't really care how long it takes so long as people do the challenges….it's what keeps all this rolling on and fun.

So here's my late entry in the "Denim In Nature" challenge. Last week, we went on vacation and spent a pleasant afternoon at the beach, or "down the Shore", as they say in Jersey.
Some parasailing going on nearby:
Also a bit of fishing:
This is as close as I got to either:

Nice, well done Chris.

We went to Point Pleasant for the day. The trip was really to Sesame Place for the kids, so we were in the Langhorne/Princeton area most of the time. The weather was amazing last week. It made me remember how nice summers in New Jersey can be. And coming back to Houston reminded me how hellish the weather here will be for another 4-6 weeks.

I spend a lot of time on the Newark waterfront, but that's another story

Glad to hear this, as all my "celebrity" friends are busy touring around the world right now. I was really counting on them for this last challenge.

Second wash. 1 or 2 soaks. I wear them 5 days a week in 100 degree heat.
One month they was out of town being altered.Joshjames

I took my jeans cycling and gave them a handwash afterwards. I can't remember if it's the first or second wash, it seems these things get less and less relevant with time.

I'm going to be away on a family break for a few days, still message me if you need anything and I'll answer if I can.
