Fleet Week? I feel bad anytime I go into a self edge. Normally I don't even need another pair but if I come in, I want them and I probably end up making employees mad when I drool on all the pants and then decide my current pair (which is still very new) will have to stay my current pair.

Self Edge Hard Enamel Pins!
We've gone and made some awesome Self Edge pins, perfect for your denim jacket, chambray shirt, or any other place you want to add some flair. These are fancy hard enamel pins made of a brass/copper blend which are nickel plated, have a hard enamel inlay, and come with really nice spring'd flat head tie-tack clasps. Needless to say, these are step above your average enamel pin.
We have Diesel (the Self Edge French Bulldog mascot), the Self Edge logo, and a shuttle from a denim shuttle loom. No, it's not a canoe pin, it's what the weft yarn on the loom is spun around that goes shooting back and forth on the loom to create the weft of the denim.
These are available now to up your flair game at all Self Edge stores and our online store.

@kiya Any plans on opening a Self Edge in Austin?
Opening a Self Edge in Texas is definitely in the cards for the near future, but i'm very sorry to say it won't be in Austin. I know that may be a shock considering how much cool shit is happening in Austin, but it will most probably be in another city in Texas.
-
Well, that's intriguing.
-
@kiya I guess since we are asking, has Atlanta ever been considered or discussed?
-
If you guys ever open a Seattle location I am effed!

3sixteen Heavyweight Hoodies, Indigo-Dyed T-Shirts, & Jean Restocks
3sixteen have just done a fresh run of their heavyweight hoodies, available now in gray and black. These use a heavy custom woven cotton fleece and custom matte-black (on the black) and gunmetal (on the gray) double-pull YKK zippers. The hoodie has a great fit and we don't think you can buy a better hoodie anywhere near this price.
Along with the hoodies we've received a restock of 3sixteen's indigo-dyed pocket t-shirts which come in a 2-pack. The first run of these sold out in a matter of days and we're happy to have them back in stock at our shops. These have a slim fit, short arms, and a small pocket and will fade and age over time with regular wear and washings just like a pair of jeans.
Along with these items we've received full restocks of over 20 different models of 3sixteen and 3sixteen+'s jeans. These are available now at all of our stores.

Introducing Self Edge Mexico - For Sunny People
We’re proud to announce the opening of Self Edge Mexico, our first location outside of the USA. Opening in beautiful San Jose del Cabo we’ve tweaked our usual offerings to better fit the year round summer heat and the vibe of the region we’re in. Beaches, sandy dunes, palm trees, amazing fishing and surfing, and more mezcal and tequila than we know what to do with.
With our new location we’ll be carrying a large assortment of warm weather wear, shorts, eyewear, jewelry, sandals, and even adding a couple of Mexican lines to the mix. With the exception of our two new lines the rest of the products will still be made by the Japanese (and some American) brands which we’ve been stocking for years. We can’t leave out the jeans though, two or three models of jeans from every brand we stock will also be available at SEMX.
We’ve made a short video with local director Mike Arce, taking you on a trip from Centro San Jose del Cabo to the site which Self Edge is located. You can watch the video above.
Self Edge Mexico opens Wednesday, October 20th and is located on Flora Farms, an organic farm/restaurant/bar in Animas Bajas, near the beaches and marina right outside San Jose del Cabo. Please check our locations page on our site to see store hours and to download a PDF map of how to get there from the center of town.
We’re having a large opening party weekend complete with a party at the store, pre-parties, post-parties, a comedy night in San Jose del Cabo with Dean Delray and Nick Youssef, and more. We have quite a few confirmed attendees coming from the states, from brand owners to clients to friends. We’re excited to share an area we love very much with our favorite people. If you plan on making it and need help with travel arrangements please email us at denim@selfedge.com and we can help you sort out your flights and hotel.

That rug is so beautiful. It reminds me of this card woven Shaman's belt/scarf I got in Colombia. I'd be interested in seeing a close up photo of the rug and finding out who made it.

@kiya I'd love to read the article, if you had a link to the specific article.

The rug is a vintage Persian Tabrizi rug from the 1940's.
