Monday, there's not too much going on inside just yet, they just sprayed the foam insulation yesterday. Plans moving forward are to reuse all the long leaf pine shiplap which was in the house originally. It's coming along well and I'll post more pics as the interior continues to be completed.

cool Clint, hope things continue to go smoothly & stay underbudget. currently looking to change out my front door to something more security minded & also change all the doorknobs in the house to nice antique crystal ones.
big fun changing your house to a home. i need to document better as i was held hostage at 3 in the morning by a huge raccon that wouldn't move from my back door, which reminds me i need to get some motion sensor lights in the back of the house, fun stuff

Well, I've got some exciting things going on at the house this week. I'm offshore working but I've been getting some teaser photos here and there. Most of the house is being built with reclaimed materials, it's a 1930's house that had an all long leaf pine interior and exterior cladding.
Original Oak hardwood floors from the house were re-laid:

Yeah, I definitely should…or just throw everything off the balcony, that would probably solve the messiness problem.

Honestly, I'd be thrilled if everything is done before the new year. I'm trying to not put any pressure on my general contractor as far as a timeline goes because I'm willing to wait for him to work his magic. It's so hard being away while all the exciting stuff is happening but I'll be sure to keep you guys posted!
Thanks for all the comments! The reclaimed wood is my favorite design features of the house so far!
