Our Cars (dream or actual)

This should be in the driveway next to my wife's A3. My 2018 A5 sportback might be out of the shop soon
It is a company lease , it had to go where the they said, I had a choice of a couple of shops, I didn't choose wisely, it
has taken way to long.

Fine mist silver, the one that looks just fine dirty

Yet another reason I love my GTI. It can apparently fit 4 Saarinen chairs in the trunk ️ -
Nice! I grew sitting on those chairs around my grandparents kitchen table.
Makes me smile to see them. Thanks for sharing [emoji3]

@formulapfaff picked up his 1990 Toyota Celsior (known in the US as the Lexus LS400) executive sedan from Japanese Classics in RVA this past weekend and stopped by us for a few days.
Obligatory 90s Japanese Whips photo was necessary:
His car was awesome - Right Hand Drive, full electronic controls in the back seats, and little nuances the Lexus never got, such as a rear cassette deck and Celsior branded ear buds:

I agree @Dstauffer - Our Norwegian heritage doesn't really lend itself to beard growing, but man, us Pfaff's can grow one heck of a mustache lol

2J swap??
-
Finally it’s finished
The pisser is it’s a 6 month lease….paid for 2 months whilst in the shop...
-
It looks great though! I am a huge fan of the sportback - hope you are enjoying it.
When I hit the big time (doubtful) I’ll Treat myself to an S7 [emoji41]

Thank you. I’m enjoying the shit out it…it’s a nice ride. I probably would have missed it if it wasn’t for my
Zed 06 I might entertain getting another one depending on what Audi thinks it worth in July, the soonest l could
turn it in for something else.

Considering that it was in the shop for 2 months, I bet you are well below your mileage, so you might get out ahead
-

-
And you “Non-US” guys get the RS5 Avant… the grown up version

there is no rs5 avant though. the avant is purely 4 and 6 while the sportback is 5 and 7? ???
-
Your right @louisbosco - I meant RS4 Avant, and more specifically Avants in general. We don't get any performance versions sadly . Not that my Audi experiences have been positive enough for me to drop coin on one, though…

@Appfaff:
Considering that it was in the shop for 2 months, I bet you are well below your mileage, so you might get out aheadMileage is a bit different on this lease. My wife’s company is owned by the Volkswagen Group. She can lease up to four Audi’s or VW’s at a time for the family at 1% of MSRP with absolutely no drive off or associated fees and they even cover insurance ( why it had to be repaired at shop that they contract with ) The car has to be kept a minimum of 8 months and no longer than a year, It can be turned in early if you reach 8000 miles. One heck of a perk. A friend of mine is driving a seven at almost 3 times what I pay for mine
Cheers
