IHG-015 - Cordovan Credit Card Holder
-
I always assumed Haraki used a Japanese tannery but I'd love to know where the awesome cordovan and calf from the MW come from, though I assume trade secrecy.
-
Now that's a card holder!
comipel or horween or other G?
Neither comipel or horween. I believe it's from Shinki tannery in Japan. Very much same as their ox blood wallet.
-
Haraki does not know where the leather for any of the wallets comes from. He does know the source changes from time to time. All he cares about, is that the quality is what he specifies…..And interestingly, when I asked him the question, part of the answer was "Japanese people do not care about such things......"
-
Does anyone have one of these?
-
I just wondered how they looked with wear or any user reviews … I was not questioning their saleability
I've been thinking about replacing my one of these http://www.ironheart.co.uk/hardware/ih-cch.html with this.
I'm trying to upload a picture of my worn in Calf Credit Card holder but Flickr isn't behaving. I'll do it tomorrow.

@Giles Does anybody know why the calf leather is used inside? Shell is great rought out too. And how thick the shell is? 3, 3,5 or 4 oz?
I would be grateful to you, Giles, and anybody who could share that information. -
Thanks Giles. In the pictures it looks like it has calf interior. The thickness of the shell should be between 1 -2 mm, that what I mean. Anyway, I bought it:-)
-
Yeah, looks like around 2 mm. That's great, what I've been looking for.
