IHSH-96-IND - Waffle Work Shirt - Indigo
-
Worn under the 240 on a cold canadian morning.
-
Thanks! The 240 has got a lot of wear this winter, pretty sure it has only been washed 3x, It lost a fair bit of color on the first wash. I should have held off a while longer but oh well.
-
@BD81 , that shirt has a great patina. And nobody wants to smell anything more than the iron and the heart. Lookin'goodyo.
-
It would be washed more but i pretty much only use it as a jacket under my vest.
-
@protokultur if you are considering picking up the IHSH-96…go for it. Its a killer shirt, nice and lightweight for the spring / summer.

Second this…..though I will add that I find it a great weight almost year round, depending on what its layered with/under. I wore mine out in ~45 degree weather today with a thin undershirt only and I was fairly comfortable. I've also worn it comfortably up to about 75 degrees.
-
@DigitalPopsicle I haven't worn it in warm weather yet, but it does keep me real comfortable under a UHF in -15 to - 20 C. How does it breathe in the summer with no under shirt?
-
The waffle makes it a fairly open weave feeling to me. I haven't worn it without an undershirt, but it does breathe well.
-
Got an e-mail saying that mine should arrive today.
Cant wait to try this one on now that the weather is warming up. -
Sounds like a strange question, but those of you that own this shirt, would you consider it "stretchy"?
-
Not a strange question, I would consider this shirt a bit stretchy.
-
Mine comes tomorrow….hopefully:)
I will let you know if it is fact "stretchy" @Wlemon
Im looking forward to this lighter shirt for now when its slowly warming up around here. -

Hi @Wlemon, by caparison to my other 12oz shirts yes. By no means a technical response but if I hold the front placket and a side seam, half width, it will happily without too much stress, stretch around an inch.
-
Hey @GC cool that you got that one too.
cant wait to see what this Waffle feels like after wearing my Wabash western for the last two weeks -
Thats so weird because that's what I did.I went down a size. from XL down to L..it came last Friday:
I opened the bag…eyeballed the shirt thinking right off the bat...doesnt look right.
Tried it on and Immediately "Noped" it right back to Gosport the same day.
Tomorrow should come the XL.
We will see. -
@neph93 that's good to know. That was the reason I asked. I wasn't sure if I should get the XL or the XXL. Knowing that I'll probably get the XL instead.

Thanks everyone for your input.
