Absolutely gorgeous build! Love the quote & how personal it is. Looks like a “one and done, pass it down” heirloom piece w/a kick.

@Mizmazzle Thanks! He really knocked it out of the park from what I can tell in photos. It should be to me tomorrow, so I'll make a post about it!
I had it made using my current wallet as a starting point, so it should definitely fit in my back pocket.

@RoxRocks86 thats the plan! Thanks again for putting me on!

@Brian Brandon killed it!

@choco if it weren’t for the fine folks of IH, wouldn’t have found him. It was a group effort super happy for you & hope it’s everything you’ve wanted & more!

This arrived by the Sea. After loosing my PTC card holder, I was in need of one and finally got this custom made one from OpenSea Leather.

I'm currently using this Tanner Goods card holder. I can keep it in my front pocket and not worry about where it is.
Now this wallet... I love it, but sometimes it's a bit much to use. The Tanuki Shell Cordovan long wallet.
If I sit for a long period of time, I have to remove it from the back pocket.
I don't see myself ever getting rid of it. It's pretty rare you see a wallet made of shell cordovan inside and outside.
Despite what I've said about my long wallet, I have my eye on a Redmoon long wallet . Something to go along with my Y4 indigo invitational denim.

@iamjustdanny damn. That Tanuki is a beauty! I’m looking for a mid length wallet myself.

I like this OGL cardholder a lot, but the natural leather had a glaze or something on it and doesn’t seem to pick up oils like other veg tans I’ve had. I took a deglazer to it and it brought out some cool imperfections I couldn’t see before. Now I can see the cows vascular system. I like it. The stitching on one corner came out so I did a shit home fix. Should hold. Still really like this.

@WhiskeySandwich ah man that's interesting — I've got one of their belts in natural and have always thought the evo of it was a little boring because it's, like you say, treated with something. What's the stuff you used? Might do the same to my belt, wouldn't mind at all if it looked a bit more rugged.
-
@popvulture I used an old washcloth and scrubbed the hell out of it with this:

Afterwards I lubed it back up with some leather balm from Mr.Lentz. Have yet to see much coloring but it’s only been a few days. My Mr. Lentz leather stuff is awesome though. This wallet was the same color when new and darkened way faster after a couple months. This is like 3 years tho.
-
Hell yeah, I'm into it. My belt just seems almost plastic-y at the moment. Not that bad, but just like... looks too uniform to be leather.
-
@popvulture that’s how I felt about this wallet. I hope it works for both of us! Let me know how it turns out man

Here's a wallet I made for my brother:
It's fully handmade with shell cordovan from the japanese tannery "Leder Ogawa" as famous as Shinki Hikaku
