a piece from the purse-maker.
made this denim work (or whatever) shirt a few weeks ago. -
purse maker is talented. great shirt & the jeans for the youngster were very good as well. should put up detail shots (if you get the time) in the hobby/crafts thread.
really great stuff
oh & your 666s aren't too shabby

was checking how my 666S have evo after wearing it for a few weeks and just found this.
notice the first thread snapped. (to the left counting from the middle and the 2nd one seems like its going soon) anyone facing this issue too? wondering would it tear the entire area below? not sure if this is what's deemed as crotch blow cos my LVC did not look like that. and this is a thread snapped; not tear on the denim.
-
mine has looked like that for over a year.. I haven't touched it and it's still fine.
yours got a thread snapped too?
-
yep. I'm pretty sure there is more constructional stitching holding it together than what you see on the outside.
I worried about it for a while, but then said fekkit. if it happens, it happens and I'll get it fixed.
Haven't had to yet.
G offered to bar tack them for me, but I didn't want to take them off my legs, so I passed.
-
mine is from the first run with no bar tack. it happened to mine too, seam broke after a few days wearing them. i fixed this by myself after a few months or so..
no need to worry about. -

Volcano..just send them to local tailor to put the bar tack.. Save you time to send it back to UK..
any local tailor able to work on it? cos I'm worried it'll be like hemming, need special tools.
so I just tell them bar tack there?
