What the fuck is it with Costa Coffee calling their drinks "hand-crafted". I am not a coffee snob, but Jeez, it makes me want to scream.....

@Giles I’m definitely with you on this sort of thing. Use of hands is inevitable until Costa is staffed by robots or highly trained dogs/cats/goldfish/anything else lacking hands. Everyone seems to be in on it though, not just Costa.

Another one that gets me is “specially selected” or similar. Selected because it’s good, it’s cheap, the seller thinks their average customer won’t know the difference?

I guess we’re back to the old question - why can’t everyone be like IH

@Giles for some reason the picture didn’t show for me until today. I think it’s a bird flu thing - if the birds are locked up too long to prevent transmission they stop being free range.

Don’t worry too much @Bigdog I’ve learned there’s always going to be something great in the next collection and anything you missed out on will eventually pop up on the 2nd hand market in your size if u keep your eyes open.

don't even know if this belongs in the watch thread or as a rant.

the fucking rolex service centre won't take in a watch without a bracelet! I understand if it's in the same country and someone forgets to bring it in together. but my bracelet isn't even in the same country (left it back in australia) and they would not even budge. I'm there to service my watch not the fucking bracelet. they'll charge you 2k for a new bracelet if you still want to service your watch. chucked a hissy fit and left. ffs.

Get out of shower, Mrs H hands me Baby H, says "hold her for a minute" and heads to the other bathroom. Baby nuzzles into my chest and proceeds to vomit all over both of us. Cleaning baby while dripping vomit. Have to have a second shower, late for work now, had to leave wife to clean up vomity areas.

What kind of evolution would produce young that can't hold their liquids?
