Google: fuck you in particular for not allowing YouTube TV to load outside of the US. What is the point of downloading videos? I paid to add the 4K package specifically to watch Shōgun on a trip.
Similarly, Amazon, fuck you in particular too for needing a network connection at all to watch downloaded content.
Only Disney has gotten this feature correct.
-
Yep you definitely can but I didn’t bother installing a VPN just to use the service while in Berlin, where we didn’t have time to watch, and you can’t run one on United WiFi anyway.
Bonus fuck you to whoever keeps shitting themselves on this flight. It smells like a nursing home in here
My wife thought it was a diaper from a nearby baby but no infant is capable of such devastation. This is someone who had too much beer and sauerkraut and/or a ruptured colostomy bag.
sigh I guess I’ll try to fall asleep. My Iron Heart bandana is doing the best it can as a mask. Wish I had an N95.

@Tago-Mago I’m no expert but that doesn’t look quite right. More seriously, hope you’re ok and everything gets fixed quickly and without too much damage to your IH budget.
-
@Tago-Mago I have cars way older that look way better underneath. I'd say that one needs much more than just a new exhaust.
-
@Tago-Mago You definitely want some work done as where the control arm mounts is rusted through and is going to cause you major issues if it breaks when you're driving...

Two years ago I fell asleep while driving on the highway. It was a long journey. The bump stop saved the day. Otherwise I would have gone into the oncoming road. And maybe I haven’t talked to you anymore)
-
Whoa, buddy! You walked away?
-
@Tago-Mago how are the winters where you live? A lot of snow and ice on the road? That looks like the result of the salt solution they use here in Norway to keep the roads clear of ice.
It’s a very devisive issue here as it does huge damage to private properly (the cars), while there is a question mark around its effectiveness with regards to increasing road safety.
-
@Walery-Smirnoff happy (new) birthday
-
After 30 meters the barrier ended and there was an open oncoming lane with heavy traffic. It was the Kazan - Nizhny Novgorod highway. I definitely wouldn't collect the bones. Guys, don't sleep at the wheel!)

@neph93 same here in terms of salt. They basically cover the roads at the first sign of frost/ice/snow. But they use actual salt, no solution
With the amount of corrosion I am amazed the car passed its MOT last October! This was also another reminder that having a company car is a huge privilege for a number of reasons, even though our dumb finance minister vehemently disagrees. I call someone, they fix my car, provide me with a replacement for the duration and my employer pays.
