im anti-kilte, but regardless, the boots look great

I like the Oxford´s, I think about buying one pair for the next Summer. How do they fit compared to Red Wings? I have a US 8,5/EU 41,5 in my RW 875, but I think a US 9 would work better.
-
So I took the plunge and ordered some Classic Work Boots in all black cxl, 8", dbl natural midsole, std heel 1/4" lowered with composition half sole, plain toe cap, single celastic, yadda yadda, yadda… These will be used for daily wear and motorcycle riding duties.
And now we play the waiting game.

The Whites Oxfords fit slightly bigger than Red Wings, stay with an 8.5 in my opinion.

Gear changing your cycle will destroy the CXL, it is a very soft leather, again, in my opinion.

Yo Mega, thanks for your post! Do you know if Bakersshoes ships to Europe?

d666: man you produce more hardcore shots than a man who's worked for Hustler for 40 years…
Seriously true. The shots just keep coming endlessly. I always wonder what else can possibly be sitting in that closet??!!

Yea, CXL doesnt like motorcycles. On the inside of the heel area it will also rub, depending on your bike style. I have a SV650, and thats where I get the majority of my wear. The gear selector is also a danger area, liek Mega said. I remedied that by cleaning it and padding it a bit with some rubber. My boots were still unhappy so I stopped using them for riding.

I have tried to read through the past 120+ pages and goggled for answers but I figured I should ask this here to confirm.
I know a bounty hunter is essentially a SJ on a SD last.
So an SJ on any other last would not qualify it as a BH ?Does the lace configuration or boot height affect it being a true BH then.
Looking to configure a new whites and am leaning towards a BH.
Thanks

A Bounty Hunter is an SH on an SD last, any other last is still an SJ. The height and lace config makes no difference.
Go to Bakers, select "custom Bounty Hunter", and go through all the options.
