Fragrances

You may already know, but there are a few places online which do samples now, including ebay of course.
For example in the UK we have these guys -
Used to be into frags, can't wear them much as my SO became allergic to them Should visit basenotes, tons of information. TF is nice, the older formulations of MPG are good too. Pehaligons, Helmut Lang, Frederic Malle, Andy Tauer, Creeds, Bond No. 9 (god forbids!), By Kilian are some I could reminisce. Definitely need to rotate them through different seasons.

The Tom Ford TV Private Blend was my go-to for a long time, but the price is now a joke… every year the bottle has went up £10. I love the Azure one as well, until I realised it reminded me of CK Crave that I wore as a kid so I bought a bottle of that for a tenner from a budget high street store and chucked it in my squash bag
Current day to day rotation...
Untitled - MMM
AmazingGreen - CDG
Midnight in Paris - VCA...and just added the brooklyn Replica by MMM, which is going to be great come Winter as a replacement for the Untitled.

Mostly go without any, but when I feel like wearing a fragrance,
Bowling Green by Geoffrey Beene
is a favourite. Very old fashioned, classy, citrus and woods type of smell.
-
^agreed. The closest I get is Juniper Ridge trail soap. I think at least part of the reason is I can't be in a fragrance store/section of a store for more than a few minutes before a migraine ensues.

Issues Miyake
Kenzo Tokyo
Guerlain Pour Homme -
Dolce & Gabbana, Intenso Light Blue and Sport, probably in that order.

I am VERY picky with wearing a cologne. I went through all the scents over time(at the stores that were relatively close). I ended up with falling in love with two fragrances….
Gucci Guilty Black
Gucci by GucciI am not one for most of these over priced name brand anything....but my god...did Gucci did a fine job making these two colognes....Always get complimented

Recently bought a bottle of D.S. & Durga Boston Ivy, I quite like it.
I try to go through a bottle and then discover a new fragrance I'm interested in.
I've always liked CDG Hinoki but it doesn't seem to last very long.I have always been interested in the DS & Durga frags. I was a bit turned off that Jcrew started selling them figured just another brand trying to get $100 a bottle for crap.

D.S. & Durga is a little bit "different". They have unique scents and not everyone can wear it.

Oh look, a new rabbit hole. If I'm not back in a few days send a search party lol.

I only wear cologne made by these folks. (No.88 is my fave, but CUBA & Spanish Cedar are also really nice).

Been using Trafalgar by Truefitt & Hill lately . Also like Marlborough by DR.Harris .

I've recently started delving, and my favorite is Vetiver by Guerlain. It's so crisp and fresh, and it helps that the gf LOVES it.
In the past 3 months, I've grabbed 2 others, as well: Acqua di Gio "Essenza", and Bvlgari "Man in Black".
Aside from those 3, I quite enjoy smelling like dryer sheets and baby powder lol

Ironically, I've settled on a Le Labo fragrance also, for my cool-weather scent – Thé Noir 29. The only other one I've sampled from Le Labo is Bergamot 22, which was also great.
