IH-777S-21 - 21oz Selvedge Denim Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

Yeah, for a long time they were out of stock in the size I wanted so I had plenty of thinking and reading (research) time. Quickly became apparent that 555-01's just weren't for me, which was a shame as I love the look of them on other forum members. Sometimes you just have to admit that you're just not built for some cuts. Plenty of Iron Heart choice though, so something for everyone I think.

I received my pair of IH-77S-21 this morning and it turns out they fit perfect. I could barely button the top button and they feel great once I can actually get them on. Great pair of jeans. Now to send them back to IH in the UK for a proper hem! I've attached a few fit pics and will take a few more once I get the hem service.

They look to be the perfect fit [emoji1476] A bit of discomfort the first wear tends to be a good sign. Now go forth and bear the crap out of them.

Nice @mannyrox!

Tried these on today in Rivet & Hide and surprising they fitted amazingly. Think I have found my next pair.

The measurements look really good on this one. Debating between this or the 777-142’s

hi,
could someone help me to understand:
sometimes I see comments regarding denim, like: 1 year, 5 soak, 1 wash.
what does soak mean in this case?i know that I have to do initial soak for unwashed unsanforized denim to shirk it to my fit and make it softer, which means to put jeans to warm water and then take it back.
why then peopel do it 5 times? and it looks like they are doing it from time to time.
sorry if it is a very stupid question… ::) -
That means that the jeans have been worn regularly for a year, they have been soaked in water 5 times and washed with soap and water 1 time. Does that help ?
-
soak, as in the bathtub/bucket/sink (or whatever) instead of a washing machine. A lot of people soak their denim before wearing, including sanforized, to get some shrink out but also to get the starch out. Soaking and washing prolongs the life of your denim.
-
If I understand correctly, you're asking why people soak their jeans, rather than wash them. Some people believe that soaking helps remove dirt and grime, without removing indigo. That will cut down on the smell of dirty jeans and help prolong the life of the denim and create high contrast fades. It's like a very, very, very gentle wash, in theory. I don't know if it's effective, and I'm too lazy to try it. I find machine washing to be much less hassle.

sorry if it is a very stupid question… ::)I have children around me so for Hygiene purpose I soak my jeans every 10 wears with gentle agitation in Dettol water. That effectively removes accumulated dust and sweat, I can tell it is effective because of color of water turning brownish. Jeans come out bit brighter and cleaner but donot loose much color, if you want to preserve color even more you can add vinegar in the water. I wash my jeans once ever 3-4 months when I think I have used it enough in warm weather or is accumulating stains.
I also like the fade patterns of jeans that are washed a few times.

I tried on this 777 https://www.ironheart.co.uk/bottoms/ih-777s-142.html in a Store in Berlin in Size 33. and it did fit nice.
So wich Size would i need for the 21oz Version? They do not sell that jeans there so i would need to order it from here.

Use the compare function on the IHUK website to compare the measurements for the two iterations in W33. Choose the size of the 21oz jean that is closest to the IH-777s-142.
However, depending on how tight the waist and thighs on the W33 you tried on were, you may wish to size down to allow for the fabric stretching with wear.
