The Flat Head
-
My Flathead Rider and Racer jackets have been worn quite a lot these past few months, thought whilst I have a decent camera in my hands I'd snap some pics.
First 3 pics are of the Rider, next 3 are of the racer. Stitching is immaculate throughout, as you might expect.
I have to say, even for Shinki leather, the Rider leather is on some other planet.
The extra "greasing" process Flathead put this one through (if anyone speaks Japanese - https://www.flat-head.com/items/srj-07c/ ) has resulted in just the juiciest leather I've ever handled, and I've been to Tokyo and handled, bought and worn tonnes of Shinki.
The Racer leather is also gorgeous; a much more familiar Shinki kind of leather for those who've owned any.

I really like that combo @twin .

Thanks @motojobobo First time wearing this combo.

The legend Clint_D hooked it up on this Old School The Flat Head polo from their Palms Label.
The shorter body seems to work great with the 888 cut.

Anyone see or plan on picking up a new Flat Head Flannel that Rivet and Hide just posted up? Really loving these. Regrettably a UHF doesn't make much sense in L.A. where temps are creeping up over 80F already, but really want this one…..

All four of their new shirts at R&H are fantastic but the one you linked to is my favorite by far. Not the biggest fan of the chest pockets on their westerns but that pattern is just perfect.

Yeah, I don't disagree on the pockets, not my favorite design but Flat Head flannels are next level and seem to be hard to find, so I'll definitely be picking at least one of these up.

I've never heard of this but I looked it up because I love cringe fashion and this is truly awesome. It reminds me of Florida. Like the whole state looks like these dudes. Bravo.

Okay, okay, there are probably at least 5-10 exceptions in the state.

Those flannel fabrics are beautiful and I'm sure the shirts are beautifully made. However, TFH still hasn't resolved their horrendous fit / cut problems. On the R&H pics, the shoulder seams are ridiculously off the shoulder. I realize those are not dress shirts but I still think it looks bad. I'd be interested to see how the flannel workshirts fit.
